I bought a fuel pump sock about 4 years ago and just this weekend finally installed it. Hopefully it helps with my little idle issue I get after long drives and then sitting in traffic.
Bought a 20 ton HF press on 4th of July and put it together (simple). Ready to start doing all my bushings as well as my 94 camry bushings and wheel bearings. Hopefully I don't die in the process.

Tell me more about this "little idle issue" you speak of.
After the bumper install I had to go get the rig dirty.

So after long drives on the highway (1+ hrs) and coming to the first stoplight or whatever off the offramp, when I finally come to a complete stop, my idle drops to about 550-600RPM and cycles back to normal 650ish a couple times and then evens back out. When I give it gas, it stumbles literally for a split second like it is getting not enough, or too much fuel. Then that is about it....drives normally. I've had this happen about 5 times in the past year. Just thought I'd try this first. Other thoughts are a sticky IACV, TB or possibly TPS.... Probably try cleaning IACV/TB and replacing the original in-line fuel filter as well.

Got it. I replaced my TPS last summer and had no issues until last week. Upon driving 1+ hours and coming to a stop mine idle heads north to 2k. Upon accelerating things return to normal. If I shut the rig down, start it back up, also back to normal....
Currently doing my MUD due diligence and trying to see if anyone else has had similar issues.

This past WEEK I drove from Colorado to California for Rubithon. Ran the Rubicon as trail committee on the Wagon Run. Won the Iron Butt award and conquered it with a great group. Then drove the all the way back to Colorado today!
Nothing beats the horrifying satisfaction of a 20T press when those angry bushings dislodge for the first time in 20 years.
You said it! I've spent my share of time digging ditches, but racing sunset in equatorial heat while water poured into every hole we dug was draining. Heading back to camp to drink beer around a fire overnight was the right call.
And I don't know if it shows up in the picture, but that jack flexed about 2" to the right as we tried to lift the front end out of the muck. I was afraid it was going to snap and kill one of us.

There were many beers. Especially back at camp while my 80 sat in the river and we prayed no rain fell nearby.

If you made it from FL to CA in a day you'd be doing so in an airplane. It's ~2500 miles give or take. Lots more than one day driving.
Either way, the beer (and bed) is well deserved.

My 96LC has the Chrome Package, so I want to keep chrome on it. I picked up a set of Lexus Rims and I am considering polishing them to a "chrome" finish, then clear coating. I was unsure how the center caps were completed and I see they were chrome also. I'm not sure how I'll address that unless I decide to do some color contrasting there. My truck is black with chrome accents, so it should stand out well.
It even came with a chrome damage multiplier on the front, but that had to go......I don't think I'll chrome an ARB for it though......
FYI - The chrome center caps have different clips than the Toyota caps. My trucks original owner threw away all the clips (long clips) and siliconed the caps on. I've been looking for long clips to affix my caps for 3 years. All the Toyota caps are short. Finally gave up and left the caps off. Still have silicone to clean off every wheel.
Chrome wheels suck on the trail, I have a pea sized chip on one and it's a fortune to have it fixed. I'd stick with polishing your aluminum rims, you can easily buff out scratches.

And I gave the White Rhino some antishine and a couple new abrasions up at Rubithon. Sorry, I took zero action photos because I've been over the Rubicon like 50 times and I've learned that pics do it no justice.
Wheeling is a contact sport and dirt makes cruisers happy. You can quote me on this.
