Changed out all the low pressure power steering hoses. Had done the high pressure one, but not the low pressure ones. A line to the cooler failed on the trail last weekend.

Swapped out my dented door for a unicorn one with very good shape 40th badge on it. Bought it from a forum member and had a little cosmetic repairs done to it before I installed it. Deleted the spoiler and had the holes welded shut. Need to install the sombrero badge and get a new washer nozzle, the old one was trashed.

Next up is the tail light.

I like it without the sombrero.

Glad to hear it! Keep fighting..... "F" the Dr's and all their "knowledge"! Having "heart" beats medicine any day...... here's to reading of you replacing 10-20 more radiators!!

I appreciate it. It wasn't just heart. I found a better doctor.

And I sure as hell hope I'm not replacing 10-20 more radiators!

View attachment 1433440 Havent done it TO my cruiser yet, but hit the pick'n'pull on her behalf (50% off) and scored some good stuff. Not shown: 2 lexus seat heater switches.

Unfortunately I did NOT get the trooper gas tank that I went for. They punched holes in all of them.

Sounds like a trooper tank would hard to find, why not just weld up the hole?

I'm in the middle of swapping the lines myself (along with replacing my power steering pump). I pulled the pump and the low pressure lines last weekend, along with my gear box. Usually I take a ton of pictures, but i forgot to get a "before" shot of my hoses. Since a week has passed, I'm second guessing myself on the 2 smaller lines, and was wondering if you could confirm which line runs to the reservoir, and which runs to the gear box.

The diagram in the FSM wasn't completely clear to me either, but I was assuming that the hard line that points straight up is the one to reservoir, and the hardline with the bend is the one to the gear box?

Figured since you just did it, you might have the best memory of anyone around right now. Thanks in advance!
Nice find on that new tailgate as well!!
Jason

Care to share brand/part number or any info about which windshield you bought.
If there is any tint? What color the tint it claims to be or what color you would say it is.
Please.
I'm in the market for a new windshield as mine is getting opaque from tiny chips.

Friend owns a windshield company. When I got there he was finishing up a Lambo. There is a slight brownish tint which apparently is based on interior color.

Gasket is Toyota glued on both sides, most vehicles apprently only require one?? I'll see if I can get the glass ID for you.

Finished up the weekend with a nice drive to Briggsdale CO., for a little "pewpew" fun in the sun.

You have it right. I had ordred a 'prius hose' that was recommended as a stand in for the non available (from toyota) cooler lines and it was too short. And people question going non-oem. When they pull BS like not making the hoses available separate from the cooler, that's why!

Read up on my transmission issue here and found a few easy fixes! Made my day! I love this forum!

Also found some new front seats on CL for dirt cheap to replace the broken and torn up power leather seats in my 93. PO paid $1,400 for this set and he let it go for $300 with real Katzkin leather.

did some wire repair, found a few corrosion green old wire repairs and did a repin on the o2 sensors, still working on the 25/26 code. after that loaded the dirt bike on the truck and went into the woods

Under $2 Mod ... no more mangled terminal post when using jump cables, plus makes for a very good / solid connection point

Trimble also has excellent offline maps. You just have to download them onto your iPad or other tablet before you go. Very detailed with Satellite, Topo and roads. You can slide the bar and have one overlay the others based on what you want to do. You just need a reliable external source of GPS coordinates.

These two solutions look great for Smartphone/tablet users. What about us laptop guys? What do you all recommend?

Went into the hills... got stuck... winched out. Went further... winched a downed tree off the trail. Went further... hit snow... got stuck... winched out again. BBQ'ed and drank beer... Came home. :steer:

Anyone know the best product to use to seal up these trim bracket holes? They are leaking water onto my rear seatbelt bases, and I need to seal them up before putting the exterior trim back on. Thanks for any suggestions.
