Pretty straightforward. Had to grind down a small portion of the tailgate as the latches wouldn't fully close. (@reevesci actaully told me this would be the case) Only took 10 minutes with a dremmel. Now it closes smooth as silk.
Feels like the tailgate latch is rubbing slightly as well. So I'm going to fiddle with it sometime this week when I have some time.
Other than that it was super easy. I'll add a few more pics to my build thread showing a some of the process.
Who here still has to turn around for one last look before they walk away from their 80?
Is that what they call "The Addiction"?

Still stuck in the dark ages is what I call itOf all the countries in the world, only three backwaters still use the archaic Imperial system of weights and measures: Liberia. Myanmar (a.k.a. “the country formerly known as Burma”) & the United States of America.
Haha, I need to remember that one. There are two types of people out there.
The ones who use the metric system and ones who landed on the Moon.

"Level" 80s always look like the rear is sagging to me.
My mind has been warped by the stinkbug.
There is a 2" rake or stinkbug built inot the body lines of the 80 series. Even when they sit level the still look nose down to me, but I come from the prerunner desert back ground. The turning & handling in the corners is much better level or lower. I've had my rig high & low in the rear. It turns like a car now....It's the body lines. They aren't level to begin with.
The metric system is better, we are just to lazy to convert. There are two types of people out there.

Haha good one! At least we don't have Trump as head of state thoughThere are two types of people out there.

You're in for a new diverter valve - see post #15 for p/n: Washer fluid pump leaking...

I also would argue with the 1st to the moon comment.
You're not far from Chester which is one of our favorite winter getaways in Ca. You found one of the best places to get lost.
Bull****. Only one country has landed on the moon. The other one doesn't exist any more.
That is what I call "a clue".
Read. Comprehend. Think.
