What Did You Do with Your 80 This Weekend? (46 Viewers)

I didn't get as much done as I hoped. Soccer games and being asked to "consult" on Christmas decorations ate up some time.

I did get the valve cover gasket and resealing the half moons done. I rewrapped the wire loom near the egr valve. I secured the loom away from the valve too as I think the factory clamp has disintegrated to dust.

I replaced the heater mixer and all associated hoses. I replaced the throttle body hose that can only be seen with the upper plenum off. I also replaced the phh now I know where it is.

The only problem I had with the phh was the 30 minutes I spent trying to get at the lower mount bolt of the hard line. I guess my toolbox isn't deep enough so I just tore it off. The upper mount should be more than sufficient.

I went to a friends house to make an ugly crankshaft wrench. It is super easy to make with the balancer out of the Cruiser. I also got about 30 minutes of cleaning done on the upper plenum. It is filthy.

kiddo got t-boned in her civic (she's fine and the civic took it like a champ, but is probably totalled). So the 80 steps in for daughter duties until we get insurance figured out. She had to call to ask which type of gas to put in (glad she did, since it takes 91 now :( )

I did the acura legend hood strut/aka strong arm 4183 hatch strut mod. They don't hold the hatch open. Sucks. And I've modded the brackets so pretty tough to return them.

Daytime running lights (needed to pass inspection)

Anti corrosion under-coat.

Out of all the tailgate storage options that is by far my favorite design. Looks great.
Discovered, when I installed mine that the excess threads on the latch bumper was in conflict with latch rods so I removed excess threads no more conflicted. These are a great storage solution...

I keep just looking at your rig. Will you share with us your mods? I see 2.5" lift, 315s, but your rims... what width are they. More pics the better.

Glad she's ok!

I think I need to just get off my ass and start making something that folks can use without having to jury-rig their own.

That would be great for people without access to a welder. If it took us thirty minutes I'd be surprised. Total cost $10 for the steel. I should be able to make an adaptor so I can work on the rear axles some day.

Adjustable front and rear panhards now available.

Does look good. Do you happen to know the distance from the centre of those hubs to the top of the wheel arch?

I have Slee's 4 inch lift and mine is slightly over 24 inches front and back or about 61.5 centimeters. I have a huge 3/4" plywood drawer-based tool box with about 500 lbs of tools in it or the back would likely be higher.
