My 4x4 labs measured 10" off the ground:eek: I picked up J springs today for a little more clearance

Got started on the rear lower control arms.

Should have them finished and shipped by Monday.

Will ▲this▲ accept a factory bushing? If so it the part available over the counter or do you have it made?

Phil, not sure if it will accept a OE bushing. These will use a poly bushing and DOM sleeve, which will be available to purchase for maintenance when needed.

The pictured item is 2" x .250" DOM -- 1.5" ID

Just to confirm....as there were 2 wires on the 7 pin harness that were black and blue....
Just FYI, pin #7 is the BLACK wire with a BLUE STRIPE.

The other one is BLUE w/BLACK.

It was like that when I got it. It bugs the crap out of me! I've tried cleaning it but it won't come off. I have a water bottle and bladder from a 91-92 (aka JSM washer bottle) that I'll be putting in at some point.

I have the other bits and bobs you would need like the brass plug and other things. Let me know.

Big fyi! Found this out the hard way. Luckily I didn't cut it and just de-pinned it instead. Even luckier yet that I actually got it to push back in lol, I was sweating it there for a minute or two!

Got this made for a 12 pack....of donuts!!

Next stop: Crank Seal town.

If it survives, it will be available to anyone in Bay Area that needs a torque multiplier and has a 1" od breaker bar. (For pick up only).

Yota master, the force is strong with this one.

Big weekend planned.

1. Replace EGR VSV, repair wiring from my temp fix.
2. Replace all hoses under the plenum
3. Clean the upper plenum, it is filthy.
4. Clean throttle body, not too bad.
5 Replace the heater mixer
6. Replace all hoses associated with the heater mixer, phh as well since it is easy to get to right now.
7. Replace the valve cover gasket and reseal the half moons.
8. Replace the PVC, grommet and hoses.
9. Replace all vacuum lines and hoses.
10. Replace distributor and o-ring. I have an internal leak.
11. Replace the low pressure PS hoses.
12. Replace the oil pump cover gasket.
13. Replace the crankshaft seal.
14. Full cooling system flush, switch to green.
15. Replace the thermostat.
16. New plugs, rotor and wires.

I think that is all. I wonder if I'll be given a reprieve from normal weekend dad duties to do it all. I have everything torn down right now. I still need to go over to a friends house to make a holder for the harmonic balancer and I haven't looked at green coolant yet. Thanks to Joey and Onur.

17. Replace knock sensors after accidentally breaking off connectors while doing steps 1-16.

Plugging away on rebuilding my front axle, replaced all my tie rod ends talk about a pain in the ass to bust loose. Hopefully have it all back together this weekend or early next week with the 5.29s.

....

I may do that this weekend as well. Mostly I have to get my muffler hooked back up. Snowboarding on Sunday.

Ten minutes. One reason I like Cali
