Blue Landcruisers Matter.

Black Landcruisers Matter as well. Just sayin. Not that I'm bias or anything.

Oh, and look what the Santa dropped off at work today. From perhaps my favorite Land Cruiser mad scientist. (2 fusible links as well)

Now I just need seat risers and a lid for my FEM and I'm set. Well, and a lockbox, battery disconnect, and 17 other things Joey will invent meanwhile. Thanks @NLXTACY

Had the motor pulled and installed 850j/863 with plates. Head was already gone through but motor will be decked. Then all will be reinstalled with rebuilt supercharger. I need to test fit the 4x4 labs front, rear and sliders to make sure they all fit. I still need to get the 315 coopers installed as well as the iron pig belly plate. I was hoping to take it on our vacation to DV in January but I'm not sure it will all be ready.

I may do that this weekend as well. Mostly I have to get my muffler hooked back up. Snowboarding on Sunday.
That was easy.

Got my fancy new bracket a la @NLXTACY installed. I switched it up a little bit and made it 2.5" on the flat part instead of 4".

I think I will have a new one made that extends up to the water bottle so it is long enough to hold the aux fuse panel instead of having it mounted to the cruise control cover. Didn't think about it until I was almost done installing it. I am going to get some 90 degree crimp ends and drill a hole down through for the 2 ga wire. Will be a little cleaner. As it is it could rub on the edge of the bracket. I added some extra layers of heat shrink and cut a piece of 5/8" heater hose and slid over it in the meantime.

I got my inverter mounted under my sleep platform. I used 3/16" flat stock and the third row seat bolts. I squeezed a few washers under it on the one side to help level it out (could use a couple more). Rattle canned it then grinded off the paint on the one hole to use as the ground. Plugged a fan in to it and it works! Pretty exciting!

How is the Morningstar Sunsaver working out for you?

Productive day. I installed 2 dome lights in my tailgate. @Mr Cimarron I tapped them off the rear factory dome light so they turn on when either of the back doors or the rear hatch is open....or they can turn off or on all the time. It took some time as I phished the wires through the grommet going to the top part of the hatch and then down the inside of the rear hatch.

I also ordered some 74 LEDs and now I have light in my floor shifter again and my glovebox....both of those were out. More LEDs on the way for the dome lights, door lights, instrument cluster, and AC control....a few lights out in each. I forgot how bright LEDs are....had them in my 4Runner once upon a time.

Making progress, slowly. I'm on to all the heater valve hoses and phh. I know a lot of people use 5/8", but that is really loose. As in fall off loose. 1/2" seems to be a better fit. Why do people use 5/8

Here is what the phh looks like with 5/8". This is the hard line from the heater mixer. The other opening goes to the firewall and heat exchanger.

 I have misunderstood where the phh is for ten years.

Can't wait! Look great Jason!
On another note, FedEx showed up today. My wife just texted this photo to me since I'm at work. Ordered from Tire Buyer 2 days ago! Super fast service. Hoping to have them mounted by next weekend.

What size are those!?
