Got out for a day of wheeling in the bush and rocks today! Nice to get out before the snow flies!

How is she running at 270k? HG done yet? My 93 has 271k. PO had the HG done at dealership plus O2 sensors. She runs beautifully and 3000 miles into our first oil change dipstick is still full.

Set of steps from today. Dragged muffler and driveshaft a bit. Of course the picture doesn't do it justice. ;)

Your rig is one of my favorites. What is the back spacing and offset, if any, on those wheels? I plan to get the same type.

Week in Death Valley!

Saw some pretty awesome rigs out there.

Marine pull out fridge worked really well (@Dubbinchris) - main problem was we had it set too cold and froze a bunch of food that shouldn't have been frozen....

Good times regardless!!

Also started the instalation if the second battery tray. need to read a bit more on how to deal with the PAIR plumbing which is in the way. Hopefully i can just block off both ends for now until I get a permanent soultuion.

NAPA 8955 hose, cut 1/2" or so off the straighter longer end, and bend the (in your picture) left hand side of the bracket back and out of the way of the battery tray. Job done. You may need a new clamp at the air box end.

I took the hose off the air box. Wrapped the port in the air box with heavy duty duct tape and a zip tie. Temporarily. Did the same near the engine. It held just fine for 3-4 months until I blocked it off at the exhaust manifold.

I'm planing on using some speed tape (aluminum stuff for aircraft) that I have lying around. I have the '95 coolant hose on order and a couple of blanking plates from Joey in my future so I can do the job properly .

Finished installing the rear heavies + Ls last night. It was a family project.

Found that left over .035 makes great tie wire.

Knocking out a rear brake job while we're in there.

After I put the boys to bed I got restless and installed my DIY 4x4 Labs kit

All in all happy with the new stance.

Now to adjust the LSPV.

My rear brakes are super loud...need to address that.

Awesome!
Where did you find him?

Are you able to send him over for a similar job?

Yeah lol, you'll need plenty of diapers, wipes, and fruit snacks. Refuses to change own diaper and will not open own fruit snacks.

Is that measurement from the bottom of the rim?
Cause otherwise you are scaring me and I might have a cry-in session.

This is from the ground to ~top of wheel well. Not super scientific. Is it ideal to measure from bottom of rim?
