If y'all haven't done business with Jason aka @arcteryx I would highly recommend him. Very good service. Reasonably priced. And haven't had a single issue with him over the years.

X a billion

Went and wheeled at Cline Butte. Always a good time. Came away with a bend shock housing and a hole in the exhaust around the cats somewhere.

You need some sliders!

Looking forward to getting gas next time now that I have a gas cap holder! So exciting. I snagged it off the 80 at the junkyard Saturday. I just got gas yesterday so I'll have to wait a while. Who am I kidding? I'll be getting gas by Tuesday.

Right at dark. Still have a few things to tidy up but I got it out of the barn finally

Dude.. What kind of Oh-s*** handles are those in your second pic? Interesting..

My 14 year old son makes them out of paracord. He sells them to fund his 1992 80 project. PM me if you are interested.

Still working on the top-plate.

Progress is being made on the crank replacement. Parts for the new dump pipe showed up today too, just need the GTurbo so I can make the new pipe fit the existing exhaust, there is just enough room to squeeze the 4" in :D

I bought an aftermarket accelerator cable line from Rockauto. Then I looked up install tips on MUD and found some posts saying not to use the aftermarket (Pioneer brand). I initiated a return, but they wanted to know why it didn't fit, so I started the replacement and found that the only issue is that the clip that clips into the gas pedal is too big to pass through a hole in the bracket that attaches to the firewall. I couple touches on the grinder and it fit fine. It was $41 shipped vs. around $110 plus shipping for the OEM.

With all these snow covered posts this weekend, thought id try and warm up this thread.
Weather report issued high surf advisory...calling for 20-25ft+ waves for north shore, so we drove up to Waimae Bay to check out the action.

It was big, pictures don't do it justice....but for some scale, that tiny spec in the whitewater is a guy in the pic above. Stay warm!
