Still have a bit of adjustment to do before the inner fenders will bolt up to the shell but after the 4th try setting it down on the frame all bolts lined up and hopefully this body will stay on this frame indefinitely.

Haven't even started thinking about wiring yet.

Tomorrow I'll get the body mount bolts tightened, inner fenders attached, shifter mounted, start to see how difficult the ECU/TCU merger will be, and a bunch of other odds & ends, but it probably won't be done for a few weeks. Have to head back home for work.

They are harsh on the driveline, got one in the front of my hilux and it loves to snap cv's :( as they engage under load, if you lose traction, then give it a bit, and suddenly the locker engages and shock loads everything...bang

He is installing in the rear axle of an AWD 80, it is basically transparent. He also have seen first hand on how it works and he also have waited long enough to ensure longevity from long term testing. :)

replaced DS spindle, repacked birfs/bearings. New rear brakes/parking brake. Question: Is it normal to have almost 5lbs of mud packed into the backside of the rear rotors? :p No wonder the parking brake wasn't working right.
I just had that last weekend. And I found lots of spots I missed, too. NOWIH8MUD.

Installed @bhicks aluminum front TEQ badge - looks super sharp Brad, plus added at LEAST 10hp to my 80!

Bought a triple locked cruiser back in august and went through replaced CDL switch and 4 lo switch on the T/C and the system still didnt work. Last Saturday I was driving it after all the rain came in from Mexico and decided to put it in 4 lo for the hell of since my street is torn up due to construction. The center diff locked up and the abs light came on.

I have come to be believe rain cured my electrical problem.

That or you didn't have an electrical problem but a lack of use problem and it finally got loosened up and broke free. This is reported fairly often.

Thought I'd try cleaning my O2 sensors before throwing $$$ at new set. The 93 threw a code back in July. First did the fire & water method now soaking in O2 safe cleaner overnight. I will check before reinstalling to make sure they are in spec.

Did not check resistance prior to reinstalling the O2 sensors but have been driving all week code free.

Threw some new gas struts on the good and rear hatch. It's so nice not having to use a pair of vice grips to keep them open anymore!! And at 32$ a set it was hard to resist.

Took the LC up to Wahiawa Gardens.
Beautiful place, several miles of easy hiking trails, and a great place to unwind after a long weekend of working on the LC.

Glad to see the "funny" guys didn't scare you off and, nice to see Wahiawa again. I used to live there back in the day.
