On the (new to me) 62: Tore out the dysfunctional wiring the PO had installed to control a winch, which had been cut into the stock front bumper :geez:
Removed the deadfoot on the driver's floorboard, lol, found about a half inch of fine volcanic silt, cleared that.
Reconditioned the rear stop/turn lamp assemblies.
 
Kartchner Cavern State Park for a hike and swim. Then lunch on the tailgate while we took in the view.

Glad I have that to look forward to.... Any advice now that their done? I'm thinking start with penetrating oil now. Planning April/May time frame.
Go straight to a cutting wheel. Don’t waste your time w/ heat.
 
Well I’m glad mine isn’t working.
Plug it just for fun. It’ll only stay plugged for as long as it takes you to unplug it.
