PP25 location has not been decided yet. June is the month. I suggested a Yellowstone area trip and a few liked the post. Seems we may still be waiting for someone to take the lead for planning. Mike and I did it last year.are we going to Ouray?

Jellystone could be fun, though I don't know about getting into the park at this point.
Black Hills Cruiser Classic is July 16-20, and overlapped last year (IIRC), but maybe that's because Jarbidge wasn't necessarily 'open' in June.

When the shackle is at the angle of the little drawing, it’s “positive cam-action zone”.
In my opinion, the springs are arched stock-length springs.
There’s also the possibility of “settling” and that the springs may settle and de-arch enough to get the shackle angle to 90°. You’ll have to see after your drive.

My Dobinsons leaf springs have settled some. I have been driving and flexing on ditches, bouncing up and down on the bumper, and loading four 40 pound bags of salt on the hood plus the old springs on the front bumper while sitting in the garage. Don’t think this will be enough. I will give it more time but the answer is going to be to remove the third leaf from all four springs as per another MUD guy who had to do this on 3 other customer pigs. Not looking forward to that job but it may have to be done. That said I am driving the pig to Zion National Park this weekend with my wife.

Picked up some flush mount LED’s for reverse lights. Quite a difference in size from the OEM size, requiring some sheetmetal cutting. Tried finding the ‘installation accessory/49010’ on Rigid Industries site, and nothing comes up (anymore anyways).
Checked out the Rear Body Mounts thread to see how @xtiaan2000 did his. Looks like he did more metal work by what’s shown in the pics vs using a spacer.

Going off of your comment on the thread, you said you bought some spacers and whittled them down. Tried finding those spacers and can’t come up with anything. The next possible options are a couple chunks of UHMW or some aluminum.
Did your mod also include welding a plate into the sheetmetal with some riv-nuts or captured nuts to thread the light mounting bolts into?
Did you also have to cut into the inner cargo area sheetmetal, or do the spacers you made shim the light out far enough to avoid that area?

I made four "nut plates" out of 1/4" steel strips drilled and tapped for two of the holes each and bonded them on the back side with panel bond.
Minor trimming to a strange inner panel that's between the inner out outer skin from what I remember.

Darn good info here, gonna continue to soak it up and maybe I’ll remember to look sometime in 2025.
