I’m not a huge fan of diamond plating (in this case on a Kaymar bumper) due to the constant battle with oxidation however this blue goo and some elbow grease makes a significant difference.

This is probably a stupid question, but do you need to upgrade the turbo with adding the additional piping and cooler? Are you buying an intercooler kit or piecing it together? There are lots of cheap intercoolers so I was told to look at Garrett and Spearco to name a few.
I appreciate the info on Vibrant. I haven't heard of them, but will check it out.No turbo upgrades needed. The intercooler just cools the air the turbo was already moving. The best off the shelf fit intercooler I've seen is made by Vibrant. Someone I follow on instagram is looking to start fabbing up sets for these our 70 series prados, I should check if they've made any progress on it.
Based on the custom setups I've seen, it looks like you could get away with ordering enough piping and maybe a small bead roller to throw something together. You might have to make a hold in your front core support unless you want to get crafty.
Good to know. Thank you.re torque them u bolt flip kits a few times, mine needed it after a few 4x4 sessions, bolts will stretch
Anyone considering the Tru-Cool LPD47391 trans cooler, go for it! It is a near-perfect fit (had to drill one hole in mounting bracket) for the KZJ78. Be sure to buy the real deal ($149) and not the $69 counterfeits from Ebay or Amazon.

I was born and raised in OR, love those Rip City plates.Swapped the Autometer trans gauge that I never wired for an Auber over the weekend. Curtains match the drapes now. Pain to crack that 22mm output line! Penetrating oil/time, heat then the crows foot and a breaker bar finally did it.

Intended to use that Autometer gauge and short sweep sensor with a Radd Cruisers drilled/tapped union. The Auber sensor is too long and would restrict flow. So, pivoted and used an OEM union (9407-20006) with an adapter. Eliminated the stock sensor/warning/dummy light.

If anyone wants to run this union with the Autometer gauge LMK. I'll sell the get up. It's all shiny new.

When your water temp matches your trans temp. Confusing. I'm slow and forgetful and fairly ugly so I may need to label these. I'm all Auber'd now. Boost, EGT, trans and water temps.

Test drive to work today. Stopped to check ATF level and got a full body shot with the new Alamosa antenna. No trans leaks at the union. Get the skids and front driveline back on tonight. Good times.

A few got destroyed. There were quite a few that were seized that were destroyed or re exported. But the vast majority of them got released after a very long time. Some were left out in the open with open tops or windows and all sorts of damaged happened to themThat Land Rover story grows every time it’s told.
I’m reasonably sure only one was confiscated (and destroyed) while the others, after some litigation, were returned to their owners.
I’m doing a snorkel install and want to replace the air box for better flow. Anyone have any recommendations besides building my own custom one?
