thanks, mines 24v tooI put my VIN into www.toyodiy.com, navigated to the 24 volt alternator section within electrical, found the part number for brushes, copied the part number, and had the dealer order it from the Toyota parts warehouse. My truck is originally from Europe and 24 volt, I don’t know if parts availability will be the same for other BJ70s, but it is worth a shot.
That looks mighty familiar! I've had my transfer case and transmission apart more times than I care to think about.First step was to build a table to work on. This old metal desk worked just fine.
