@c2dfj45 ..... "What could possibly be in these 2 crates that came from far away lands?"

Ah....the flares. I need to figure out what to do on those. I'm in a flare dilemma right now. Ha.

Is there a way correct my title without a big hassle?

Probably not if it is a California title. The incorrect year may go all the way back to when it was first imported. If the original import papers are incorrect it will be a bureaucratic nightmare. :frown:

On the other hand you could leave the sleeping dog alone. The discrepancy could be a factor in a future sale however. An educated buyer would not be a fan.

You would need a VIN verification done and then go to DMV and correct the date would be my guess. Unless you have a nice DMV they may just correct the date if you say the wrong year was put on.

I wonder how if it change so an

Definitely right may have to leave that stone unturned. I do not have any of the original importation paper work, is there a way to retrieve such documents? Also Im sorry if I seem uneducated about this process.

Bull bar turned up yesterday.
Ordered a single loop but they also gave me the triple loop, not sure which one to run with but won't unwrap the triple loop till I move house.

Depending on your DMV, you might just leave that stone unturned.

My guess is since it's already titled it shouldn't be that big of a deal to change the date. You aren't changing VIN or any of that, and you aren't selling. It's an honest mistake as you just found out it's an 86 so might be worth an anonymous call to DMV to see whats all required to change the vehicle year on a title.

Saw this while driving a couple days ago

Whence came the bull bar? Looks great.

@jblueridge Thanks. I ordered it through the importers head office because they didn't make a single loop yet. I assume their distributors will stock them shortly which they have all over Australia. They already stock a triple loop. They may already do something in the US?

Question: Since I have the head off already, what is the best was to attach to the engine to pull it out? Can I bolt into the head bolts (4 of them) to lift it out as long as I protect the mating surface of the block?

And a little decoration never hurt:

It's a 30x80 shop with one end closed in. I'm going to put doors on that as there is a stove in that side that keeps it nice and toasty in there.
