The Yankee got the troopy out and drove it down the mountain and the oil bath filter may not work with the Sniper.

Ben sent me pics and it looks like it's drawing oil up into the Sniper and dripping out the sides as well.

Seems odd. Not sure why the Sniper would draw more air than a carburetor.

The basin is filled to spec which is not very much.

I guess I need to find a paper compatable base

Very interesting. I ran my oil bath filter with my sniper for ~3 years without issue. Was the incline such that it could spill over? Although, it would have to make it up the center of the hat to do so... Curious to see what the issue is.
 
My sniper sucked oil through the PVC off the oil fill tube. I moved to the rear fJ60 side cover and it stoped.
 
The PCV line should be connected to the intake manifold well below the sniper or carb.
 
Wonder if you’re getting a bunch of blowback past a valve or two that’s then getting sucked into the sniper. Have you scoped the cylinders?

No. Motor is fine. Runs like a sewing machine
