You are talking for the headlight washers right??

Beno- I am interested in one of those washer pumps for my 88 fj62. if you can PM me the price, I'll let you know if I can play. Thanks DUDE!!!

no sorry- you can be wrong like that all day long!!! thanks for your most awesome work, man!

What's the diff btween 60 & 62 washer reservoir/pump? Besides being a different number, are they actually different or incompatible in some difficult way?

I think the difference is the electrical plug. I have both lying around and can compare.

what's the damage on the fj62 pump?

yessir

Received the 62 pump and here is the informatioN between the 62 pump and the now discontinued 60 pump:

As stated, 62 pump is still available. Body of the pump is almost exactly identical but the electrical connection is different.

The harness side of a 60 would need to be adapted with a connector from a 62 setup and then I think the 62 pump can be used.

If anyone with a 62 can check for me to see if the harness side connector has a 5 digit number embossed on it that would then correspond with a 10 digit toyota part number.

That way 60 owners could modify their harness to accept a 62 pump with a new electrical connector and 2 splices.

Hope this helps.

I'll check later on my harness, but a guy could solder the fj60 leads to the fj62 terminals...

I'd check my harness right now but the vehicle has 4 inches of fresh snow on the hood (and I haven't shoveled the driveway yet) - maybe later this morning.
