I can get TJM shipped within 2-3 days if they are in stock through an Oz source of mine. I've gotten a few things for the 100 guys that were no a US shipped item. Back channels are a good thing sometimes.

We'll that's cool that you’ve gained access. For me... even though TJM’s new US distribution center is literally 14 minutes from my house...it still took a long time last year. I think they were kinda in a transitional distribution spell when I was waiting. Glad to hear they are finally getting it going and that you've found stock one way or another.

I don't think Jason will build, nor will I accept, a non-functional bull-bar. Strength is paramount.

I can't speculate on what the end design will be. It's all in the brainstorming phase. The one that was spoke of will follow the contours of the grill/headlights and be tight to the body. The compound angles might be tricky but seams doable.

I can't either but I'm hoping Jason does something similar to what CBI did, except without the hi-lift mount. Their bumper was a one off but it looks like a similar design to yours.

Bear, My 200 Series Newbie Build

Personally I'd prefer to run driving lights at grill level over the in-bumper light bar, but that's fairly minor compared to the added bull bar protection.

Well I had to take the 200 to the house today... I pulled it around front and EVERYONE stopped wanting to see the bumpers. My machinist said he wanted one just like it for his Raptor... 3- 80 guys stopped by and same story... YIKES!

SERIOUSLY every 30-45 minutes... I took it to the house; came back and locked the front door!

M, You know I usually take pics like a crazy man. BUT, I just wanted to get to work today. The new 200 soft shackle recovery points will be on the rig for poser shots in a day or two.

NOT the 200s (60/80/100), but the SSRPs are CNC cut, bent, drilled and chamfer radiused. GatorJaw 53000# will be used for the new bumpers as well.

Forgot to mention, in the glove box there's a trailer light harness/plug assembly. If you want to get that incorporated into the rear somewheres.

  • Heavy padded RLCA skids are made and a few other materials are ordered.
  • 1-1/8" 4130 CrMo bar arrived for the recovery points.
  • Soft shackles arrived
  • Center section of front bumper is dimensioned and in CAD. I'll get it cut and bent the first chance I can get the 1/2" off my table.
  • HW- DOM tube is bent for the sliders
  • Slider rails are cut and angle cut
  • Locking swing arm struts are ordered
  • Universal headlight washer pods are ordered
  • Custom length E-track strap for propane wrap is ordered
  • Ordered large quick fist straps for the fire extinguisher
Dug out the clear plexigass to try and get the tailgate storage panel finished up. Played around a bit with the front skid plate.

Got home about 9 last night. Just getting some things knocked out as I have spare time or while I'm in zone mode until next week.

Jason, are you still considering making a hidden winch mount? I would be interested.

The full front bumper is probably not needed for my application, but would also consider that if the weight was minimal. Trying to avoid unnecessarily bolting too much stuff to this truck.

On the outside of tire, using t-straps. Swappable per side. Like so

The propane can I'll be using, that Jason has of mine, is this. But the cheaper $45 tank might work too. I wanted aluminum for corrosion resistance and light weight.

Got it. Are you using a Bugout Rack (Bugout Rack) or is Jason fabbing something?

After Tony and another dude finish some custom work my truck is heading to his shop for a hidden winch mount and rear bumper.

There's going to be a provision for a bunch of stuff on the swing arm. Plus, he's going to find a spot for a fire extinguisher (5 pounder). The only other thing I would want is a spot for a chainsaw and/or a pull pal. Bugout Rack might work for that unless he can come up with something that doesn't copy the design of Bugout Rack. Or not, and just offer it for cheaper. :)

That’s the one that’s on my swing arm. It’s pretty good, had to sand some sharp edges but the weight reduction was worth it to me.

I’d be very curious to see a bull bar on your bumper. Had way too many barely missed incidents to consider a bumper without one.

Wait a minute @TonyP - I think I've been asleep at the wheel here and missed something....you are going in to @reevesci for another new bumper to replace the new bumper he built you last year?

Did another CRV hit you?! ;)

I'm excited to see what you two gentlemen come up with! The fact that @reevesci is posting here how people are practically tackling him to get in line for one of these things......and NOT posting photos.....must be some kind of violation of Mud rules, right? Talk about teasing....

As much as I've been trying, nope. I could certainly use the cash for the gaggle of BMW projects I've been neglecting.

But yes, all new bumpers that should be coming to market.

From what I've seen and we've discussed, the bumpers (as well as roof rack and other bits) are going to be awesome.

Regarding chainsaws, I'd been scheming of ways to mount a Stihl farm boss to the truck but am amused with the idea of adding this ridiculous Silky saw to my kit instead:

I'm kinda serious, though I'd be more likely to use the 650mm instead of the 1000. I mainly want a saw for clearing an existing road compared to trail-blazing (not planning a McKenzie trip anytime soon, in other words).

Just thought I'd share the Silky saw with y'all since chainsaws were mentioned.
