5,420lbs is my guess, but more importantly $2.40 per gallon of non-ethanol. Insane!
25% increase in weight over the advertised curb weight.

Fair enough. You are correct on the sliders, as Nolen stated I was building this for more of a strong step than a full out rock slider. This whole build was built as requested by @wngrog simple and effective.
7.34mpg YIKERS....
Interesting on the weight, I thought it would be more. Only about 600lbs more than mine. Your's looks like it weighs 2000lbs more than my BJ74Whats the 0-60 time show on that page? Out of sheer curiosity.
O-40 was 17 seconds![]()
The better question is, what is that now...because I KNOW you have flogged on it to see that.
One of the big questions is how much gain do these 4.4 motors giving. There is a guy in Idaho that did a bench dyno on one and it was 215 horsepower. He’s being pretty quiet on the details but I saw the engine on the dyno and the sheet. That’s crazy stuff.
I am planning on running my truck to an dyno soon. These things lose a ton of HP to the tires but I’ll also run my stock 40 though it as well. That way we can see the percent increase.
This truck is strong. Super strong but it’s also heavy. I think the extra HP more than makes up the 25% weight gain.
How's the return-to-center on the steering? Do you have the printout of your alignment results?
Have you considered the tires? What psi are you running? On the power steering.
As those that have mini truck PS. It’s more of a power assist steering but that’s fine.
We also did a center arm rebuild.
Ujoints on the steering shaft have no slack in them.
All steering rod Ends are new.
After I did the rod ends and lift , I had the alignment done.
The steering does not feel right. Slow speeds it’s good and tight but when cruising at speed it takes a good bit of steering input to turn it. Kind of feels like it floats.
Realign? I’m trying to figure out the next step.
Not sure if the boxes have any adjustment in them. I have the center arm pretty tight.
Have you considered the tires? What psi are you running?
Backing off the adj, will cause slop in the sector shaft, 3/4 is a lot of adjustment, sounds like your steering gear might have some issues? Mismatch of parts during rebuild?
