Chris mentioned the temper being wrong.

Looking at that one picture, I agree with him. It's got a pretty course grain to it

Guessing so. They are shearing in a counter clockwise pattern as well.

It is good to see Goonie Bird rock in that one pic, sooooo many people drive right by it and miss it. I have some good shots from previous years out there. Pig Rock is another one people miss. Somewhere I have a 55 in front of it, pretty cool photo.

Well, here's the carnage. 6/10 studs all sheared in the same fashion.

Figured out with @Godfather90 that the ruff stuff housing is missing the rear bearing retainer on the inside of the housing which is why the rear started eating the studs after the first one snapped.

Anyways, upsized to M12x1.25 studs, threaded the housing, and then put a metal lock on the inside of the housing. Upsized the 3rd holes and slammed it back together. We'll see if it holds now.

Have been going nutty with @Beardzilla82's bed and stuffs.

Slapped this bad boy together in cad.

Slapped some tube on the front bumper.

Dan Dan stuffed the 5 speed and doublers in.

I started on new fuel tank mounts.

And then I decided to molest the frame for a stretch.

Dan Dan taught me a neat new way to drain a tcase.

Started on bed sides.

Tail

Stuck them together with the main skeleton.

And horked it onto the tinyest of toyotas.

Started on bed mounts. 8 total.

Started on the boxes.

Rear floors.

Fronts.

Had to put a deck plate in just to see. The 7" frame stretch was worth it for the proportions.

Chris had to have side hitches for some reason, so I stuffed those in and gusseted them up.

Started on the rear hitch and tail mount.

Burned in all the hitches.

Burned in the boxes.

These things took a solid day to gap, align, and hinge. Ughhh.

Stella dog came by to snoof stuff.

Anyways, pretty happy with how it's turning out. Hoping I have enough time to get sliders built as well, but that may be pushing it. Still have a lot to finish on the bed.
