Good news
Bad news on the key holder.

Works well, but I'm more than a little concerned its gonna start shıttıng parts with a Ford key hanging there.

Has anyone run the Diamond Axle drive flanges on a FF axle? Is there a snap ring required to hold the shaft from walking in and out?

I have the RCV axles on the rear and yes, I had to run a snap ring. I would think the diamond is the same.

I was thinking the same thing.
But the diamond drive flange looks like a totally different beast.

I'm thinking it would need to be on the inside of the drive flange to stop it from walking into the cap, is that thinking right?

The drive flange and the axle shaft will both be the same speed all the time. So my thoughts are they can touch with no damage. But, if the axle moves in and touches the other shaft they could be spinning at different speeds causing wear... Just a thought....

Edit, after thinking about it, it needs the snap ring holding it toward the wheel. If it slides in, I think it could slide out of the drive flange.

I think you are right, that would make sense. Just have a little end play with the shafts to the cover.

Somehow I just found this thread.
If you have any key holders left I’d love one. Since you’re not doing anything else right now anyway;)

Yep, I have a few more I can bend up.

I’ve got a brake if it’s easier to mail flat.
Thank you.

It fits perfectly in a flat rate box bent, so thats what I've been doing.

@Broski @OlYellr did you both get yours?

Look at her. Just ready to get kicked out of a KOA.

You know what's special?
Two grown men and two dogs, in a day cab 1 ton, wheels up to rescue friends with a broken trailer.

Was it the same friends who broke it with an excavator?
