haven't had a great beer budget lately but had a few good ones tonight to celebrate the end of a crazy work week.

The Cotswold Harris Teeter no longer has any of these left . The big surprise was getting an extra 15% because I bought more than 6, same as the wine deal.

Pretty good list right here the S was the only real surprise to me as Sierra or Stone didn't take the crown

They were avoiding any larger micros it appears. Lagunitas didn't get a mention even, unlike Stone. Fun stuff!!

I drank the Stone Imperial Russian Stout I got in Durham tonight - I love stouts . .that one is THICK. It was good - lots of coffee and chocolate after-taste. I probably gained three pounds drinking the 22 oz in one night

If you're looking for Lagers from that list North Coast, Bells, Oskar Blues, Firestone Walker, Great Lakes, The Bruery and some others on there have some of the best Lagers i've ever had.


Lager only Breweries such as Gunpowder Falls, Jacks Abbey, Straub and Olde Meck are all good (from the few i've had from them) but not very well known outside of their respective states due to a lack of distribution power. Same reason why so many great breweries from NC didn't make the list.

Looks like Stone will be releasing some good new brews but taking some staples off of the shelf.

Hope the new ones are good.

Because the levitation is one of my favorite ales ever and the sublimely self righteous black IPA is my favorite black IPA by far.

Tasty, although more bitter than expected. Very light, mildly hoppy, lager.

I bought this the other night just because it was funny! Ended up being pretty decent. Need to find and buy another pack to come to a conclusion.

Had these 2 yesterday after work

Waterfront IPA..... solid IPA and only 6 a 6 pack at food lion so that's a plus

The new Stone Enjoy By 2-14-15. Just as good as all their others
