Wonder if you can integrate ARB Linx into this. That would be rad.

I have a 2008, is it a small plug like 3-4pins? If so I believe it plugs in on the left side(while looking at screen) of the trim bezel (not radio) I’ll see if I can find a picDoes anyone with the unit in a 2008-2011 have an issue with airbag light that is on? We have a harness labeled with AIRBAG but no idea where they want to plug that in.
I recently contacted them and they recommend the 16” unit for my 2008 LC. Any idea why?Installed the new 17” version in the LC today. Pretty straight forward, I think it took longer to figure out what harness (4 to choose from) to use than the actual install. HVAC buttons on top

not sure, it's also $100 more on the website but the specs are better on the new one as far as I can tell.I recently contacted them and they recommend the 16” unit for my 2008 LC. Any idea why?
You mean the specs are better on 16” or the 17”?not sure, it's also $100 more on the website but the specs are better on the new one as far as I can tell.
17" had 5.0 Bluetooth vs 4.0 in 16" and I thought the processor was faster in the 17".You mean the specs are better on 16” or the 17”?
Do we have 2008 LC’s with 17” installs?
I'm not sure how applicable this is to others, but I quickly added wireless car play to my older Naviplus setup with a different CarKit dongle. The original one just did wired CarPlay, but the new one does both wired and wireless.
It was a cheap and easy add on:

If you are asking if the dongle at that link will give you CarPlay on the factory stereo, no, it will not.Is this compatible with the OEM Toyota navigation display? Would love to learn more if it is- I have a 2013 and the GPS is so dated it’s useless. Would love to put my phone’s GoogleMaps up on the screen for navigation.

No, that module will only work with Android based units (so mostly aftermarket units like Naviplus, EC Offroad, etc.). They have other modules that are designed to work with factory CarPlay (most or many of those are not Android based; at least not in the same way). But none of these modules will work with the factory Toyota head unit in our LC's as it isn't Android based and doesn't have any form of CarPlay built in.If you are asking if the dongle at that link will give you CarPlay on the factory stereo, no, it will not.
I used it with a Naviplus to make the CarPlay work wirelessly. I think the module above will work with any CarPlay setup.
Sorry, I misunderstood. I thought that I had read some comments maybe on Amazon for people that used it in vehicles with factory CarPlay (maybe Honda) that allowed them to go wireless. No worries - they have several different models, so it's just important to go with the one designed to work with factory head units (like Honda or Toyota cars that have factory CarPlay) or the one designed to work with Android head units (like EC Offroad or Naviplus).Sorry, I misunderstood. What years will this work in?This unit is sold at the dealer in UAE. This pic is from September 2020. Price works out to about $1900 US. I can buy this and send to anyone if they'd like. My only beef is that I don't believe it works with Apple carplay, however, it does do screen mirroring.

No idea unfortunately. I have left my assignment in UAE.What years will this work in?
Just curious if you ever got this working correctly. When I hooked the factory setup back up I had sound but no screen. I reinstalled the new unit triple checked everything and set the audio on the factory unit before I did. No change, still no audio. I took it back to stock for the 3rd time and the screen is working now. I'm not going to mess with it again until I receive the correct parts from them. Maybe its the harness or maybe I'm still missing something. With Cruise Moab coming up I'm nervous about messing it up, so not sure on my timeline to try again.
I appreciate all the help and support. Will continue to update on progress either way.

Nope. Gave up. Fully stock now.
Did it work when you had it in? Is it compatible with an 08 LX?17" had 5.0 Bluetooth vs 4.0 in 16" and I thought the processor was faster in the 17". I had a 17" in my 08 put pulled it out when I traded it in if anyone is looking for a deal on a used one.
