Looking at going big boy ifs having trouble finding a narrow diff housing that doesn’t break the bank might try narrowing a tundra front or get reverse gears for a sequoia rear irs housing

Looks like possible IFS Clamshell donors are Tundras and 200 series, which includes the LX570.

Yeah
I think the tundra is the best option
Need to get one and get rid of the tube on it so I can center it under the motor

Some triggers have pulled going full send with ifs
And I’m starting to gather parts. might use the factory steering box or do something like below. Guess I should have got more parts off of my mk3 supra when I started.

Tundra 5.7L rear end... all I have to say is that it is huge and beefy. Added some comparison between it and the 80s 9.5”
In addition going full uniballs up front
Trailing arms in the rear.
20” of wheel travel front and rear is the goal
Custom oil pan on the 2j is a maybe will be using a tundra carrier bearing to route the drive shaft the taco’s was far to weak and problematic.
swing set steering to keep the factory 80s box. Going to try to make it bolt on for the most part
Still waiting on the front differential

Another small update! Everything is as straight as I can get it with the tools I have. Had to get creative with the table and an angle finder. The
trailing arms are in the works rn going to finish mounting the rear axle this week now that the engine is mounted. Got one lower control arm done roughly to eyeball track width(90”)

The 100 series 30 spline axles plug right in to the Supra mk3 rear diff as they should it’s the same diff just different housing

steering with be a swing set with added hydro assist down the line.

new wheelbase will be 133”
Gears will be 5.29s (tops out in 5th above 200 mph) with 40s
Cruising rpm 2750 at 73 mph in 5th
22” of travel in the rear and ~20” in the front
