I can't help but think a truck loaded up and put together like that, in that neck of the woods on Friday after the event might have been someone we know.

I just hope they aren't too banged up! Looks like it was a rough one.

The odds seem to support your thinking, but I sure hope you're wrong! Thoughts and prayers, regardless...

I have smashed a few cruzers in my day but CRAP!!! Take notice of the Delta radius arm wrapped over pas finder and the shock stuck in the dash... that looks like it used to be a proper built 80. Cant believe they lived. Testimony to how strong the 80 truly is.
No kidding. That was a hell of an impact.

OMG!! Hope they’re ok. Don’t remember seeing an 80 series with a weBoost cell antenna on the back.

This wasn't someone from the event was it:

Tragic.
I just emailed the editor asking for names and have been digging all over the internet trying to find out who was in the land cruiser with no luck. It looks like they had tan wheel well covers (?) on the back tires and packed for adventure... They released the name of the driver that died in the F-150 but no mention of the two in the Toyota... prayers for them all and the families of the deceased. :(

Does this shirt belong to anyone that was at Classic Cruisers on Sunday before the Summit in Ouray? If so reach out to Brandon or one of us here can help connect you.

I had a great time. Can’t wait to sponsor and head out there next year!

This has been brewing for a while as I watch the journey of my boys. There is a next generation to pay forward to so that SAS lives on. I would like to champion this for us. I am open to ideas and thoughts on how to get them more engaged next year. Connection with nature, people, rigs, and working with their hands. I have some ideas. If you want to help develop this together let me know.

Pls PM me.

Like to move this discussion to a different platform once I get an idea of people who want to assist and ideas we come up with.

Lets pay this forward.
