Technically, I think Tinker did. I just got to follow. Subsequently, so did Chris
We’re the same with Sassy if she’s not invited/ included we don’t go !!
She not kicked out of the KOA though 😜
But I’m sure my next year they won’t remember Tinker 😉
Your good !

Next year me and the other misfits are kicking around another destination.

Perhaps a convo for outside of this thread but I am also considering taking the Cruiser on a trip to Northern WY in the spring, potentially towards May/June.
I'll kick off that convo with this thread I just started...

I wanted to pass on an update I received from "Mo" via WhatsApp - I am going to just copy and paste is so you can read for yourself... if you wish...

~Moritz: Hey Bryan,
thanks so much for your message — and sorry I didn’t get back to you right after I got home to say thanks again!
The trip back turned out to be a bit eventful… on the day I left camp near Salida, I ended up hitting a cow moose. So the Land Cruiser doesn’t look quite as nice as it did at the meet — but I’m totally fine, and the bodywork can be fixed.

~Moritz: The truck is in Colorado Springs right now, with my new friend I met from Yosemite. One of his buddies has a body shop and he’s going to take care of it — I don’t really have another option since I’m not around and can’t just move the vehicle myself. Of course, I could also bring it to one of the many Land Cruiser shops in Colorado, or even hand it over to Bruno.

~Moritz: The poster I won thanks to you is now hanging in our office behind my desk — I’m so proud of it, and honestly it’s by far the best travel souvenir of the whole trip. Thanks a thousand times again for that! I also bought a long-sleeve shirt and a cap, and I wear both a lot, always bringing back great memories.

As for how the rest of my travels will go — I’m not really sure yet… I’d really love to head up to Nebraska to visit all my new Land Cruiser buddies. And of course now, after seeing all those amazing builds, I’m starting to dream about a turbo diesel upgrade… It would be so great to be part of this unique community again, and to give something back in return.

~Moritz: All the very best from Europe,
Mo

Was advised by a friend I should share this link here with the SAS community.

Godspeed Terry.

A couple of us went up to Velocity Basin this year. Really pretty.
