I can’t wait to get my Dissent stuff on, really high quality work
Agreed. Dissent makes the bet armor in the Game. Ben build my rear bumper on my fj40 form a sketch. he even made my sketch better.

Tell me about your decision to use Dissent bull bar versus an ARB. I had never heard of this company before today and now I am intrigued. Goodness it gets expensive adding swing outs but nice looking kit.

Ive know the owner of dissent since late 2019. He custom built my rear fj40 bumper. I just like his product and styling. In my opinion no one does it better.

In this case - I like the more modern lines dissent arb revision.

Yes dissents stuff isn’t cheap. It’s so well designed - the fit in finish is amazing.

The other thing that’s a huge selling point - is the slam style latches. I’ve owned several trucks with the off the shelf latches. Simply - They suck. The ability to lean into the tire and open the latch is amazing when your hands are full.

Land cruisers deserve dissent.

Hope that helps.

Did a little poor man machine work. It went really well. I bought these 4runner wheels for my fj80 axels. (Stockers won’t fit) - the center bore was a hair to small. I opened them up 2m. This should work for mock up.

However The wheels are growing on me. I might keep them.

Process - i used a shank rabbit bit with adjustable bearings. The Bering was on the bottom of router bit. I set my depth and chased the center bore.

Step two used a flush bit in router and chased my newly machined surface.

I went slow the bits did just fine.

Also i finally pulled the 2f. I have a fellow mud neighbor that ended up throwing me cash and helped me pull it. It’s only fair I give it to him. Sorry @CruiserTrash rebuilding it piece by piece to restore his truck.

I am so tired of the black oil caked on. I cannot wait to clean off. My wife is ready for me to stop ruining clothes. Lol

@Snicklephritz87 Maybe you got the wrong guy … I got everything I need on my engine build 😎

why did you cut the 4wd/reverse/light/starter connector instead of just unplugging it? That whole circuit will stay completely unmodified since you are sticking with H55f.

I didn’t cut anything? What are you talking about?

I am also rebuilding the whole harness with detusch connectors most likely. It’s over kill but my preferred connector.

In your picture, white 4-pin above the starter. Looks like starter lead and clutch hose got cut too. Really common when yanking a 2F from 60 to just slice all those at once.
