Well got an email from the turbo dealer. He sent out the last one a couple days before he received my order. 3 weeks back order now. Found the same turbo on eBay and ordered it. It wont be here till the 26th. CRUNCH TIME it is. Like @Kleatus said "Failure is not an option". I hate buying things from eBay by the way.

If anybody needs a spot at the KOA for this event I have one from Aug 1-Aug 4 (tent site 55) I’ll let go at a cheap price (we all know this KOA isn’t cheap).
Just let me know if you’re interested. I can’t make it. I’ll switch it into your name if you want it.

I need a spot

Motor is running good again, but now I'm getting a grinding noise at speed. Sounds like it's coming from the rear, it only happens when the drive train is slack.
If I'm on the gas or compression braking I don't here it !
I'm all ears on what to look for this morning !!!
I'm thinking drive shaft or u-joints, sure hope it's not in the rear end !!
I was reluctant to run such a hard trail ( Fordyce Creek ) right before SAS. Dam it was fun though, good Friends, good times and hard technical trail 😍

Had what sounds like the exact same thing coming home from GSMTR. Sounded like the TC coming apart. Would kick in as soon as I let me foot off the throttle, kind of grinding noise followed by a high pitch singing/ringing as speed decreased. Even took the back cover of the TC off to double check as it looked like it has some slight glitter in the oil. No issues. Towed it home for a ujoint when I had a spare with me. Oh well better safe in that case.

Try a ujoint or both for sure!!!

U Joint would be my guess also.

Yesterday we put Zac's 80 up on the lift cause during take off you would hear a clunk. Turns out it was his rear track bars and a little play in the rear driveshaft. Got a week to tighten up the big projects and check over the little ones.

Hows your truck coming along John ?
Still working on buttoning things up. About to put the skid plate back on…go to the dealer & pick up some already ordered parts. Replace the bottom radiator hose…and therefore flush & burp the air bubbles I will create. Hate that job.🙉🙉

The shift shaft is going in/out as planned, planning for test run Saturday. I believe I will be good but time will tell.🙏

Were the bolts loose or were the bushings shot?

Thank you ma man. You and Zack keep rolling on the adjustments and will see you in 10 days
Of for sure. Turbo is coming in from TX so of yall wanna put some of that good Texas heat on it to make it hurry up, I would appreciate it.

Do you already have the bushings? Our dealer has them on 1x per day restriction. Huge PITA.

But tonight since I got time... working on starting to make that carnage award.
