I think it's been tried and installed on an 80. Try doing a search.
 
@baldilocks @Broski I think are others with build threads that have used similar
Yes and I’m pretty sure this is the kit although I ended up cutting the arms down to 18” to match the length of the arms on the stock bar. I then notch the forward end of the bar and welded a threaded bung with hole facing forward same as @Broski. Doing this made it easier to fit the package into the limited lateral space.

The Antirock is a great set up, I really like the way it works and it gets the bar up out of harm's way !
The kit that @baldilocks posted is the one most have used ;)

I cut the center of the mounting bar out for the weight saving after it was fully welded

I can't remember the numbers but the heim joints that came with the kit were binding at full articulation so the upper ones were replaced with one's with 55* of miss alignment if I remember correctly.

In short a lot of Fab work to get it to work on a stock set up but totally worth it :cool:
