Regearing to 4.88? Nitro and JustDiffs are having a pretty huge sale.....

Everyone should not only check their statements but go back and attempt to contact the venders who received the fraudulent orders and have the order canceled if possible. Ask for a copy of the order, double check to see if they have created an email account with your name and contact information. Put a hold, if possible, with all credit agencies so that any attempts at opening a new account are stopped. I know there is now a yahoo account in my name for sure, can't comment on the rest of this stuff yet.

There seems to be a trend where the goods are being sent to the same town where you live, if accurate, this is not being done by one and done hackers, they know what they are doing and I think it may get worse. I don' t have time for this stuff...

I called and talked to them about another application. I told him I was ordering some toyota stuff and he said most of the Toyota stuff was out of stock as dealers have hit their inventory hard with the sale. He said no issues with the sale items, they are just making room on shelves for incoming inventory. Not discontinuing anything.

Post above is from July 28th (day I placed my order). Nitro themselves confirmed over phone the intent of the sale was to clear current inventory to make room of incoming stuff.

I received an odd email from an Anita Rivas, from an account mail@dpioffroad.com on July 31. It had an invoice attached but I didn't open it. I called DPI and got someone on the phone, and they confirmed it was from my purchase with Nitro, but it took a bit for them to figure it out. I will admit, for being a large company, their customer communication process could use a lot of work, that being said, I talked to a human, in America, and my question was answered in less than 5 mins.

All sale items on my 7/28 order were delivered.

Hmmm, received the same email from Anita that references an order # that’s different from the one I received from Nitro.

Yeah, the same here. Nitro order # does not match any of the numbers on the DPI offroad correspondence.

Gotta love how “she” spells ‘concerns’ with two c’s

Ordered through nitro gears on 7/31. Received a message on 8/5 that they were delayed. Received an email this morning that my money was refunded and order cancelled. I ordered via PayPal, and as of now have a pending refund. ( I didn't request a refund they just automatically did it.

I ordered directly through Nitro’s website and i do not have any fraudulent charges showing up. I also did not experience any of the order processing issues others reported using the Nitro website, i think thats why many used the justdifferentials site?

I asked for a refund when my order was delayed; just received $351.98 of my $570.10 purchase via PayPal - that's a hefty restocking fee ($218.12) for items that never left inventory.

I was told restocking is 15%. This is a disaster for everyone who this has affected and for nitros reputation. Amateur hour. Geez.

As a business, I don't see how a restocking fee is applicable for items out of stock that haven't left inventory. That's a performance failure on the vendor side, not the client side. 🤷

Invoice and order number were mismatched for me too.
I baulked at opening the invoice too. It looked suspect.
Did anyone that for hacked reply to that email?
Before I yeet this box into the shed, do you want me to check contents? You asked days ago on phone when I was out, and I keep forgetting.

I agree 100% and you should have gotten a full refund. Your partial refund is absurd for the situation and they kept a lot more than 15% of your money which they shouldn’t have kept any. Hopefully they’ll refund the rest.

I should have been more clear. I talked to customer service and asked what their restocking fee is for any returns. The 15% was for delivered orders which, if disclosed, isn’t out of the ordinary. Keeping any money from a non-delivered item is dumb.

Add another one to the canceled order bucket. To hell with Nitro.

I won't be doing business with Nitro again, they squandered too much goodwill. I ordered direct from the link posted on the Nitro site, had lots of challenges getting an order submitted, had the same communication pattern as others have posted here. They did refund everything, down to the penny, and I don't have any fraudulent charges (yet). I was hopeful, since I think it was a good deal and would have been a nice fit with 35s. It sucks that other 'mudders are having even worse experiences, and I can only hope that Nitro or their parent company learn from this experience.
