Regearing to 4.88? Nitro and JustDiffs are having a pretty huge sale.....

When you ordered did the website show the sale price or did you try to get the sale price after the website had been changed?
It was the sale price and I ordered on the 31st and it went through. Got a confirmation email and everything (no fraud charges fortunately).

They are out of stock on their website. I ordered mine late on the 29th and at that time their website only had 3 in stock. I jumped on it as soon as I could because I figured it was a "while supplies last" situation, which it turned out to be.

Also just got my order cancelled due to out of sale stock. Said they had 5 in stock when I placed the order on the 29th though.

Looks like the sale was just a scam for someone to quickly gather some credit card numbers.

If I don't get the gears, I don't even care. All this crap has left

The "sale" stock qty was never advertised. BS. Pretty sure for CA purchases this is not allowed.
Yup. Same email here. I ordered last Saturday. They sure know how to make sure to never get a dime of my money ever again. Sounds like whoever is running that place is a complete idiot.

On second thought, I will be pre-canceling my orders now. They did some of you wrong and I do not want to support them for it.

It baffles me how thick some of you all are. It was clearly a sale to get rid of stock and when the stock was depleted the sale effectively ended. Contrary to some opinions here the stock quantity WAS advertised and has been anything but a scam. All I see is a bunch of jealous butthurt.

Timeline of my order:
07/29 - Order Placed at Nitro-Gear.com (Website said THREE left in stock)
07/31 - Received FedEx Tracking and Invoice from Both Nitro and DPI Offoad
08/02 - FedEx Package received on my doorstep.

ZERO additional credit card transactions.

Thick? It’s 2023 and this joke of a place doesn’t have real-time inventory? They were marking things down that much and weren’t monitoring the sales? We all had our CCs charged and received order confirmations. They screwed up and instead of doing what a reputable business would do and honor sales that they made and charged to customers, they took the low road. If that doesn’t tell you everything you need to know about how they run their overall business and what you can expect if you ever have a problem, then take a glance in the mirror before calling others thick.

Sorry, can't hear you over my gear break-in.

This happens ALL the time with different companies and 99% of them don't honor the sale price. Thick? Most definitely but there are many other examples in this thread than just cancelled orders, it's a general observation, so don't be so insecure.

A limited qty or count when I ordered was not posted.

No, it was listed as in stock when I purchased.

Every item on their website has a stock quantity. Using the above "in stock" example you can see the amount below.

If there is only one remaining item on the website and 20 people order at the same time, it goes to the first person, the sale is concluded all other orders cancelled.

Not sure why you are arguing the stock quantity wasn't listed when it clearly is and multiple people corroborated it.

I'm not that bent up about it except for having to deal with getting a new credit card, but I don't recall seeing anything about it being an existing stock sale. Was that written somewhere or is it being assumed?

Timeline of my order:

7/29 - Ordered at Nitro Gear website. Indicated 5 left in stock. Received order confirmation within minutes.

8/3 - Fraud alert for ~$1100 charge on same cc.

8/3 - Email that order is still processing.

8/7 - Order cancelled due to lack of stock.

There's no excuse for a big company selling gears to sit on dozens of orders for a week then cancel them. If their software is complex enough to have a stock counter it can stop taking sales once they're out of stock. It's a stupid situation.

You may not need one but always safe to get another. There are occasional transaction errors from payment processors in that someone didn't steal your CC and order something but rather the wrong payment was processed to the wrong card. Still sucks though.

What time did you order yours? I ordered mine at like 1am EST I think?
