I called and talked to them about another application. I told him I was ordering some toyota stuff and he said most of the Toyota stuff was out of stock as dealers have hit their inventory hard with the sale. He said no issues with the sale items, they are just making room on shelves for incoming inventory. Not discontinuing anything.
Hmmm, received the same email from Anita that references an order # that’s different from the one I received from Nitro.Post above is from July 28th (day I placed my order). Nitro themselves confirmed over phone the intent of the sale was to clear current inventory to make room of incoming stuff.
I received an odd email from an Anita Rivas, from an account mail@dpioffroad.com on July 31. It had an invoice attached but I didn't open it. I called DPI and got someone on the phone, and they confirmed it was from my purchase with Nitro, but it took a bit for them to figure it out. I will admit, for being a large company, their customer communication process could use a lot of work, that being said, I talked to a human, in America, and my question was answered in less than 5 mins.
All sale items on my 7/28 order were delivered.
Yeah, the same here. Nitro order # does not match any of the numbers on the DPI offroad correspondence.Hmmm, received the same email from Anita that references an order # that’s different from the one I received from Nitro.

I asked for a refund when my order was delayed; just received $351.98 of my $570.10 purchase via PayPal - that's a hefty restocking fee ($218.12) for items that never left inventory.Ordered through nitro gears on 7/31. Received a message on 8/5 that they were delayed. Received an email this morning that my money was refunded and order cancelled. I ordered via PayPal, and as of now have a pending refund. ( I didn't request a refund they just automatically did it.
I was told restocking is 15%. This is a disaster for everyone who this has affected and for nitros reputation. Amateur hour. As a business, I don't see how a restocking fee is applicable for items out of stock that haven't left inventory. That's a performance failure on the vendor side, not the client side.I was told restocking is 15%. This is a disaster for everyone who this has affected and nitros reputation. Amateur hour. Geez.
Before I yeet this box into the shed, do you want me to check contents? You asked days ago on phone when I was out, and I keep forgetting.Invoice and order number were mismatched for me too.
I baulked at opening the invoice too. It looked suspect.
Did anyone that for hacked reply to that email?
I agree 100% and you should have gotten a full refund. Your partial refund is absurd for the situation and they kept a lot more than 15% of your money which they shouldn’t have kept any. Hopefully they’ll refund the rest.As a business, I don't see how a restocking fee is applicable for items out of stock that haven't left inventory.
