Everything but the Kitchen Sink

Don't load it down like this unless you want your 40 to wiegh 5200 # without a hard top.

Hydraulic 10,500 lb winch on the front; Ramsey 8,000 Lb electric winch on the rear; recovery straps, shackles, etc; spare birfs (2) and front axles (both sides); complete set of wheel bearings for front and rear; alternator, distributor cap, fuel pump; hydraulic bottle jack, Hilift; on-board air with tank; welder with air tools, inverter & electric grinder; safety gear; bottles of fluids, cleaning solvents and grease; spare front & rear driveshafts, u-joints, u-bolts, spring centering pins; complete tool set...... and all the little stuff like spare hoses and belts, RTV gasket maker, assortment of nuts/bolts (including driveline bolts).

Obviously, I don't like carrying this much, but experience has told me to be prepared.

How much of this do you need for your own truck? I'd use a trailer before carrying that much in a 40.... dam I miss my Willys trailer... it would haul a ton and follow up the tightest trails.

I keep forgetting how different our 4 wheeling experiences are! Original owner 1978, always done my own servicing. 482,000 miles today. I guess most of you would think I'm a wuss, but not a rock crawler or mudder! LOL Probably close to 80-90k off road. Usually alone, so careful.

You bring up the most important thing... using your head. I've wheeled mostly solo, and at times in places where your survival is dependent on driving out. Ive always been able to drive home.

Hard Core

You could repair anything with that list of equipment! Hard Core, Man!
Great stuff,
