Sand Hollow will be a more distance future trip. I finally got around to starting the AntiRock sway bar install today. I leave on a short trip tomorrow so progress will continue next week.Just make it happen for Sand hollowI don't want you to miss out on any more wheeling.
That jig is making it's rounds. When it hits @Noahrob it'll be its 4th time in action. Def. made it super easy to plasma them holes out!Sand Hollow will be a more distance future trip. Thank you for lending me the frame hole location template. It’ll be in a box on its way to @Noahrob in an hour.
I plan to shorten the arms from 21.5 to 17.5” - 18”. Stock sway bar arms are 18”. Shortening the arms will give the bar a mechanical advantage like the HD sway bars some members install and also allow me to place the axle tabs canted rearward for reason I’ll explain later.
Those rectangular holes in the frame are good datum points to measure from. I placed the center of the holes in both frame rails 3” aft of the the rectangular hole and the tube couldn’t be more squarely positioned in the frame rails. Actually, per my framing square it’s perfect.

@Broski was the creator of this jig. He has the write up on his thread using his jig. I was the 2nd to use it and have some decent pics of it mounted on my frame for cutting and now Baldilocks does to as you can see above.the antirock sway bar is my next buy…. Feed me the deets!
Ive read back a bit and see that it’s an Rockjock anti sway, What’s the part number? And learn me up on this template. Anything else I need to know? My wife has made an ultimatum and won’t ride in the rig until I do something about the body roll…. Sooo got to do it
Playing it forward, Happy its getting used !!!!!!@Broski was the creator of this jig. He has the write up on his thread using his jig. I was the 2nd to use it and have some decent pics of it mounted on my frame for cutting and now Baldilocks does to as you can see above.

If there is good wheeling in Washington I have been unable to find it except for snow. I moved here just over 3.5 years ago. Maybe you can show me where it is here. Let’s do some snow wheeling.rig is looking good! Let me know if you ever head north. I am just up and over the cascades from you in Naches. I still want to explore down that way sometime as well.
I moved here from Ca as well about 3 years ago. only really started exploring around here about 9 months ago so i am a newb to the area as well.If there is good wheeling in Washington I have been unable to find it except for snow. I’ve been to Elbe. I ran all the trails, except the toughest one, rather quickly. Avoided the hard trail because I was alone with my wife.I moved here from Ca as well about 3 years ago. only really started exploring around here about 9 months ago so i am a newb to the area as well.
Funnyrocks/Moonrocks is right up the road from me that has some technical rock crawling but it is a small area. I Have heard Elbe can be fun as can Tahuya. I have found acouple trails around here with some fun spots but not fordyce rockcrawling technical. some amazing scenery and places to camp though.
there is a private area in goldendale they have the WEROCK comp at once a year. I have heard that area is fun.
I love snow wheeling and our rigs are pretty close capability wise so lets set something up. there are a couple groups in my area and over toward packwood that live for snow wheeling. I have even been contemplating buying some super wide 38 TSL's to help the big girl float better.

I only ever run a front sway bar when on a longer trip which usually involves a loaded roof rack and the stock style front bar serves that purpose well.Who in the group is gonna do a front AntiRock sway bar Eh? The trick is the bend for the steering arm.
