Finishing touches on the decorative fence.
I wanted to top the end wings with a unique crown. I had seen this cross many years ago at a church built in the early 1900’s. The campus was adorned with wrought iron forged creations. This design caught my eye back in 89 when I first saw it.
Sourced a section of 5-5/15” schedule 80 pipe.
Cut six 1” wide rings.

Sectioned one ring into six pieces to create this.

After grinding and blending we have this.

The driveway side wing also got a crown as well as address and the community logo for “Rocking K estate”.

Using peroxide, vinegar and salt in a handheld pump sprayer and the entire fence is now rust patina.
The third crown was welded atop of the lamp post.

Thank you! Simple and elegant imo.Man love those gate toppers
this is awesome!!!Another woodworking project completed today. Cookbook holder for my daughter, for her birthday. Vertical is curly maple and black walnut. Rest part is adjustable to thickness, or it can also hold an iPad/tablet/phone, so I made a slot for charger cord. Front piece is rosewood.
