The first mod for me on the Tacoma. Remote start using the OEM key fob. 100% plug and play if you have a 16+ with smart key.

Can you cut down your current shackles?
I could cut my current ones down, Also I think Chris' shackles would work. I will get back to the house and measure.@1MOA I have these 2 sets available if you would like to use them till you can get your stock ones shaped out. I will look for a set of stock ones.

What system are you using? I have the programmer for the Fortin brand. I have them in the Lexus and Tundra. There are some options that are cool with them. Auto heated seats below 32 deg., Auto relock. The downside is with the stock keys on you don’t have great range. 20’-30’. I would recommend a RF kit.
The solenoid clicks when you plug and unplug it. It worked for about 10 mins after cleaning it then back to running like crap. Really thinking about making it part of a marine sanctuary in the Shenandoah River.
Any progress? Workin on it today?Status update:
Spent all my time I had today taking out a cross member that was never meant to come out... of course I find this out after taking it out successfully and being happy
Current, untested, theory: The dishwasher, washing machine, and two showers were all being used at the same time and the hot water heater wasn’t able to fill up fast enough for demand, so the brown was from the sludge at the bottom. It’s probably never been drained in 15 years so I’ll try to do that later and see what comes out.
Mine is 24 years old in an area where everyone insists that water heaters only last 5 to 7 years.
Sweet! Enjoy! Those are beefy skids and seemed like quality fit too. Very tempted to go with budbuilt after seeing and handling them.@PRADO3 thanks for the help!
Managed to get all the skids on before having to leave for work. Now just need to go back and tighten all the bolts properly
