AVM hubs over AISIN ..?

Only due to lack of AISIN availability for all US market UZJ100's.... for now I hope.

Do you get part-time IFS 100's in Panama?

As stated above, the CV shaft has to change to 43430-60050 to make the Aisin hubs work.

I've got some feelers out on aftermarket Japanese shaft assemblies but it's not looking promising as that shaft wasn't common in Japan. However oddly the the 43460-69045 is available (OE and perhaps aftermarket) albeit not too much less than the complete shaft.

Have you done a build thread on that bad boy 80 yet? I'm dying to see it
No not yet. The shop that built it has all the pictures and videos of the build. They are backed up and working long days trying to get cars built. The owner told me they are working on a video and detailed build sheet to send me so I can post it.

Because Toyota shows that IFS trucks with manual hubs have a different CV axle assy than ones with drive flanges.

43430-60040: drive flanges
43430-60050: manual hubs.

When I said "Perhaps we should start a thread in the 100 section..." I was leaving that as an open invitation just as much as committing to do it myself ;)

@LandCruiserPhil, it would be a great place to share your Toyota spline drawing.

We don't .. another reason me don't like them ..

What's the rough cost to have birfs machined? I'm looking for a used set to have machined for the snap ring.

I was referred to a local shop in Phoenix by another mudder who had his done for $40. I'm dropping mine off next week.

Going rate is six-pack to $75'ish. Perhaps a bit more if your walking into to a standard machine shop without a Cruiser sympathy. If you're local to SLC, I can make a great referral to a machine shop with a few Cruiser fanatics.

"match" is simply cosmetic. They'll work, but not look factory. If they are cheap and aisin I'd still run them, personally.
