FYI, I found out that these are riveted. The seller eventually posted on the SC Upstate forsake section and he responded to my inquiry.

Hope this helps someone.

Ad doesn't say whether they are welded or riveted. That might be a question worth asking if somebody is interested in these for a vehicle with disc brakes. Disc setups require the later welded rims.

There are 3 smalls spot with rust bubbles. I grinded them down to bare metal and primed them for now. I will try to take pictures of those.
The gas door lock is missing but I still got the lock cylinder.
The original carpet is still there but would be nice to have new carpet installed

Asking $15,000

Wow. That's like Shasta's wish list. Except diesel. I do hope he gets every penny if all that kit is in good condition.

For anyone looking for BFG KM2's, I found a couple of deals on NC4X4. One set of lightly used 33x10.5/15's and a set of new 35x12.5/15's:

Where were those 33's when I was looking? Oh well, Griffin Bros. was running a buy three get one free special so I paid less for 4 new tires than he is asking for his used ones. FYI - Griffin Bros. everyday price on those tires was $199.95 (while they last).

You might think about getting a matching spare while you can.

EDIT: Somebody please let me know when Griffin does the B3G1 again.

I bought a matching spare. :)

Email Russ Carter at Griffin Brothers. Tell him you are an ONSC member and that I referred you. His email is Russ@griffinbrothers.com. I'm sure he'll be happy to let you know when they'll be running their next special.

Could be time for Moonshine to step up from one tons:

@Rice
I can see it now, The right side with the awning would be the living quarters. The Boondocks Grill side would make a nice 3-4 car garage.

Wish to buy:

Unrelated to cruisers but I would like to find a 600 cfm square bore MARINE carburetor.

I don't have intake manifold yet so a spread bore could also work but engine is a 4.3 liter so need to keep cfm's 600 or below.

I finally have time and money. The quest for an 80 rear swing out bumper has begun. I thought I'd see if anybody has one for sale before I purchase new. Whatcha got?
John Vee, I don't have a rear bumper but let me know before you buy anything. I am either going to build a spare tire carrier off the frame rail with the original bumper or go with a 4x4 labs with a single swingout.

@lumbee1 I had a spare tire carrier built for mine that hooks right up to the 4 holes in the stock bumper. I'm not going to use it though; @Mtbcoach is building me an interior carrier. Let me know if you're interested - I haven't used it yet. It was built by this guy: http://www.detoursusa.com/knucklebone.php

I see they are not saying anything about how much it will take to clean up the ground around the tanks. I was told about 1 mill, about 2 years ago to clean up the property. I looked into it years ago.

OUCH. That would be an important disclosure to include in the ad.

They're advertising as building/property only, though... I assume that's because the tanks and pumps are not part of the deal. Maybe Exxon is required to do the cleanup? :meh:

All I know is I was going to buy it from the original owners and I talked to everyone up there and talked to the EPA and they all told me this. It leaked for decades.

A 4x4 lbs bumper with single swing out is also on my list. I've not even looked at the price for a kit.
