So today was supposed to be a joyous occasion, but sort of ended up being a huge pain in the ass…
It was awesome because i finally got a call saying these beauties were in
..
MOTHAFxxxIN GOODYEAR MTR KEVLARS!!!!!!!!!!
So i go and drop the newly painted rims (I spent all day yesterday priming and sanding and painting, doing things correctly for once) off at sears to have the tires put on so that i can bring them up to alpharetta to install on woody. The guy says "theres a chance that they will get scuffed, oh wait, probably not." i didn't expect them to ruin the paint job on EVERY RIM like they did! They not only scratched all the paint off around the lip, but also managed to gouge the paint on the spokes. I couldn't figure out how they managed that, so I was more than a little pissed off, 2nd time I've had to paint these wheels, 2nd time ruined…
THEN, i looked at the millions of pounds of weights on these things, they are BARELY attached to the lips! That made things especially fun after i put the wheels on Woody and began coming home. While driving, i heard one big "THWAP" then a faint "ding ding ding". I then heard it again two more times… Wheel weights fell off of three of the four wheels in about 15 miles at highway speeds. So I am livd at this point. i really don't get mad easily, but after spending $1500 on tires, i expect things to be done correctly and professionally.
So I decide to make another stop at the Sears on the way home with Woody to get that fixed. Long story short, they didn't because theres was "only 30 minutes until closing". Im going to a different sears center tomorrow, I don't know what i was expecting from the dimwits at cuumberland mall
Anyway, heres some pictures for reading all that putty party bull**** up there
I loaded up the 80, every time i hit the gas i though the back hatch was just gonna bust open, those tires were going WILD back there hahaha.

(You can sort of see the silver lip, its scratched like that on every rim.)
I didn't know 33s were so tiny

It may just be me but proportionally, 35s just look so at home on a 60 series.

Ill take many more glam shots and damaged shots when it stops raining (hopefully soon). Or maybe ill go wheeling sometime soon, i don't even know when my next trip is. Ive missed the last couple Ga cruiser planned ones, so ill need to get the next one for sure or else they might make me be President of the club or something awful like that.
