Atlanta SNOWPOCOLYPSE!!!!! You know you're grown when instead of seeing snow and thinking, "YAAAAAY! I get to go out in that!!!!" you think, "Fxxx, I have to go out in that…"
It took me 6.5 hrs to make a trip that normally takes me 30 mins. and that wasn't even that bad. My younger brother didn't even make it home from school tuesday. He was one of those assholes that parked on the highway all night and slept in the the seat

But he got to see all the funny little fender benders, so totally worth it!
Anyway, i was stuck over at my Grandmothers house to make sure she ws doing alright for most of the excitement. No internet over there, but at least i got to take a few pictures in the snow.
Hardcore right?
Nanas Creek
The snow did give us the opportunity to FINALLY route the locker cables since school was cancelled.
Last time i checked in i think i decided to use a pull style type contraption to engage the lockers, i have since been convinced that thats stupid because I've already paid to powder coat these levers.
Mocking things up (you can tell i mean business by my ruler and pencil)
Its far too close to the dash, so we had 2 options, cut the Tuffy or remove the heater and move the Tuffy back a few inches.
We tore those seats out, pulled the carpet up, puked a few times because of how gross it was under there, and decided to go with option 2. We also sniped some stainless nutserts from ebay to secure the levers with. Those things are cool as hell.
They turned out really nice even though we didn't have the special tool necessary. Make sure you don't drill into the tranny.
Removing the heater also left us this conveniently placed hole in the floor. we just sort of lucked out on that since i completely forgot that the heater needs fluid to heat. Anyway, but those hoses, spilled a ton of coolant on the driveway (I could tell my mom was impressed when she came out and made this face

)
My little brother, Aidan, made these little plates to try and close up some of the gap around the cables. They aren't too pretty but they get the job done.
Painted/installed.
Im really happy with how this turned out. They still need a little tweaking because the rear locker fully engages before the lever can go through its full range of motion and lock into the lower cut out.
As you can see i also chose option 1… I needed to notch the inside of the Tuffy about an inch as well so that the cable could bend without too sharp a curve.
I cannot wait to test them out on the trail!
In the next couple days id like to get the "locker position sensor" light wired up and installed into the dash. I wasn't able to find any lights that said "front" or "rear" or anything, so two generic circular lights it is!
