Wow!!! This thread never ends. Is the longest build thread on MUD??? Your truck is almost as crumpled as mine. Only got sick of the rat race of posts on the regular forum so I'm only posting on my local club house of a dozen crusty dudes lol.

Tried to mount them yesterday and found my lugnuts were too big. Never been told my nuts were too big before now.

Doing some reading and found that some aftermarket "race" style wheels come in 45* lug seats, others come in 60*. 60* is the normal steel wheel lug seat angle.

Couldn't get a tool in to measure, so I cut a spare 60* lug nut in half to verify.

New spline drive lug nuts ordered which should fit well. They'll be here early next week, so I'll try again then.

Also, my upper coolant hose repair from GSMTR a few years ago is failing, so it's time to get that fixed too.

hey there's the other half of my upper radiator hose

Get some 9/16 bulge seat or acorn style lug nuts with a 3/4 hex head and you will be fine.

I got some bulge seat spline drive ones on order. The 14b (aam10.5) has m14 1.5 lug studs, d60 is 9/16-18, so different front and rear. Pita.

lol! I’m in the exact same boat with the 715, mismatched front and rear and I would have NEVER thought finding the right lug nuts would be so much of a challenge 🤣

Moonshine's "Sticky Era" has officially begun. The rear quarters are gonna need some surgery before her first outing as you can clearly see.

Love the higher offset of these wheels. Lost quite a few inches of track width, especially with these tires being narrower than the old ones. I think it's about 4" narrower than before, but I'd have to go back and double check that. Just shy of 87" wide outside tire to outside tire on the front now.

The tires come about halfway up the door windows on my cayman, lol.

Bout Time!

I see a sawzall in your future for sure.

move the axle back a few inches and cut away lol

I still can’t believe it’s been almost 2 years since you broke your windshield lol

Yay, now my passengers will be safe(r).

Starter fluid. Either the batteries are getting tired or the engine is, but she won't start without some "start ya bastard" motivating mist.

The seat bracket before was rough, broken in half on both sides. Only thing holding the passenger in place until yesterday was the sleeping platform and the seatbelt, lol.

Yikes 😳

Continuing the theme of doing unimportant things to put off redoing the rear quarters, moonshine has a new Jerry can and holder.
