I should have a arrival date for the brackets on Monday...the reason for the delay is I switched company's an decided to have them laser cut... the company is still local to me so I'll update the thread on Monday.
I decided to try and finish up my Matchbox high beam setup. As I posted earlier I purchased a different micro shroud with a halo ring from a company called Klearz. The shrouds did not come chromed and once in hand I was informed by a chrome shop the plastic compound of the shrouds would not be a great candidate to be chromed so looking at the micro Gatlin shroud I whipped out the Dremel and opened up the Gatling shroud to except the halo and it worked out perfect.
Then I went to work on the factory shroud open up the hole, cut about a quarter inch off the the rear and inserted the Matchbox projector and bolted the projector on.

Update: The brackets are scheduled to be cut late tomorrow or early Thursday and will ship the same day I'm hoping to have them in hand by the weekend, Monday at the latest. I'll will do one last test fit and then put them up for sale. Thanks for your patience.

I have a set of matchbox projectors sitting in my garage. Did you have to cut any to fit them and are you using HID or halogens bulbs in them?

I had to cut the highbeam shroud just a little bit once I removed it from the housing
I remove that chrome reflector inside used a step drill bit and enlarged the hole. I then cut 1/4 inch off the back to expose the projector threads. I'll post pictures in a few days when I cut the other side

Brackets arrived and I'll test fit them tomorrow. I had a little issue, my CAD guy decided to make a change to the attachment point without telling me so when the parts arrived I was shocked to see the Mid Plate which give me the OEM matching offset was cut just like the top plate. To cut that part again would have set the time table out another few weeks and cost more so I decided to cut them myself. Bought this slick bench top band saw from a company that sells open box tools from Northern Tool Co.
and went to town.
The plan is to install the Mini H1 brackets and projectors into the housing tomorrow.....install them on my truck and fire them up to make sure they are level. If everything checks out I can start shipping in a few days

I can't wait to buy a set of the D2S brackets. I would go with mini h1 but I enjoy a little more work and a potential excuse to get some more tools.

Very soon my friend ....I want to make sure they are correct.
I'll test fit the D2S the following day.
As for tools the Dremel and the extension wand is what you'll need to open up your shrouds. What ever you do don't waste your money on the cordless Dremel the battery drains in 10-15 minutes... I returned mine and got the plug in.
Not that you guys care but each bracket is lightly sand and hit with a Scotch-Brite pad to give them a brushed finish.... didn't like the finished as the brackets were hit with a sander to clean them up after lasering That's just how I roll

If I'm installing the Mini H1 in the low beam positions only then I won't need the dremel since I won't need shrouds or need to trim the reflectors - Correct???

This is correct... you well not need a additional shroud or have to trim anything. The LX shroud/reflector for the low beam well fit and the Mini H1 sits slightly behind the OEM shroud. If you look at your OEM lights the factory projector also sits this way which gives you room for adjusting
Are you planning on making a start to finish video for installation/procedure?
This would be pretty awesome @Luke111 , or at least a concise step by step process with adequate pics. Looking forward to it, as this will most likely be my next mod. Thanks!

Yes that is the plan but I'm not sure I'll have time to do it before I start shipping the brackets. At the very least I'll have step by step installation pictures. It's pretty straight forward but there are a few short cuts I have figured out.
One thing to complete before you work on your lights would be the wiring. TRS has easy to follow guides for wiring.
I got home to late from work last night to test the lights but they are mounted in the housing and ready and I plan on leaving work early so it will get done today.
Here's the Mini H1 mounted and a small installation tip that will be in the installation guide
You have to remove the lens frame and bolt the projector on the back of the bracket and then bolt the lens frame from the front.

They are level and centered. It's still light out so I'll shoot a few night shots shortly.
The left light is not as sharp which has nothing to do the the bracket but I'm going to talk to TRS to make sure I didn't mess something up by removing the lens bracket.
