Back on track... the revised bracket will be notched for the offset piece I'm having cut and bent. Still deciding if it will be welded or bolted on.
Looks cool, I'm following along patiently.
Put me down for a kit whenever they are ready.
Happy to pre-pay if that helps with the initial overhead.
Nice job...this is exactly what I was envisioning you'd end up with when I first suggested waterjet. Inexpensive, simple and effective - Nothing to align and will probably ensure 100% correct fit the first time out.
In your experience with the Mini H1 7.0 and D2S 4.0, do you think it is worth it to go through the modification (and possible ruining) of the OEM shrouds to fit the D2S 4.0? From what I have read, the D2S 4.0 definitely throws more light, while both seem to suffer from too steep of a cutoff resulting on less than ideal light on the drivers side unless you aim them up a bit and risk blinding other drivers.
Just wondering your thoughts on these two projectors. I'm sure that either would be such a massive increase in performance over stock that just about anyone would be satisfied either way, but I figured I'd throw the questions out there.
Thanks!
