LX 570 Harrop Supercharger Stage 1 and 2 Impressions

Finally took my Dragy unit along for a ride to measure 0-60mph.

2015 LX 570
Mods: Harrop TVS2650 Supercharger (Stage 1 )
Tires: Yokohama Geolander HT, decent amount of tread, but 5 year old rubber
Traction: off
Drive mode: Automatic D mode, did not manually shift.
Tune: Stock tune.
Gas: 93 Octane, full tank
Curb Weight: 6000lbs

Results:
0-60 5.75 seconds
1/4 mile time in 14.02 seconds.

Recorded video of slightly slower runs but very consistent. Apologies for the blurry cam. For those that don't know, Dragy is known to be pretty reliable in the automotive world for 60ft, 0-60, 1/8th mile and 1/4 mile stats.

Final thoughts: This mod was worth every penny to me. This trucks moves now and I am definitely enjoying the power!

why not stage2 there is not much to change just a bit of transmission remap and fule remaping

Stopped by Prospeed and ordered my Harrop stage 1 kit. 6 to 7 weeks and I can pick it up. Got a discount by buying it through them and get tech support on my install.
Doing mine at home. They install them for about $2,500 USD but they are not worried about missing out on that by me doing it myself. They are a full on speed shop with half a dozen vehicles on lifts with custom radical action everywhere. Twin turbo Tundra's with the torbos under the cab. Ferrari's corvettes, Camaro's with full on speed fabs.
Pre-runner Tundra, you get the picture. Custom build aluminum everything under the hood with impeccable wells.

Install looks fairly straightforward. Are you planning to run a custom tune or something off the shelf?
 
No one has cracked the ECU code for the last couple of year models so I'll have to go stock tune stage 1 till then. A soon as someone does i can add on stage 2.
 
I'll be adding the 12.5 gallon aux tank so might has well get familiar with the hind end of the critter. I pulled the one on my FJ62 to change the pump but I anticipate more stuff connected.
 
Do the 200 not have the access hatch in the second row seats?
There is a hatch but it isn't large enough to remove the module, only disconnect the lines.

A couple people here doing fuel pump work ended up cutting the body sheetmetal and bending the edges back to make the hole large enough to remove the module vs remove the tank. Not how I'd go about it personally but it has been done.

Wow that seems very silly of Toyota not to make it a bit larger. That was one thing that was nice on the 80 and 100 when the fuel pump went out. Thanks for that bit of info.
