List of compatible parts and critical upgrades? (1 Viewer)

Has anyone here ever found/contributed to/created a list of great compatible upgrades and parts for FJ60's?

My favorite part about these threads and forums, apart from the great stories, is learning about interesting upgrades and compatible parts. For example, with my '83 FJ60 I've been able to put in a new 1993 4Runner Brake Booster and Master Cylinder (in-stock at most of our local parts stores, whereas the FJ60 specific version was not), and am getting ready to put in an 80 Series steering box. I would never have thought those are compatible upgrades! As my sons and I continue our build, I'd love to learn more about which compatible parts/upgrades we should be sure to consider. Has anyone here ever found a list of great compatible upgrades like these?

You might want to check your steering box bolt pattern.
The 60s box pattern changed in 85 from the older box to the new 60s 62s and 80s.

I just used Google to find it and show the difference.
It was easier and faster than to go get my steering boxes out and take the picture.
