Bought my '75 FJ55 a while back with these white rims. Not sure if they are factory stock rims or not? Thinking about switching them to the plain factory steel rims with hub caps, any opinions???? What looks better??

We are going to need a few more pictures of your pig to give you a proper opinion.I do like the vintage look
I have the spokes which were on mine when I bought it. Being frugal, I just kept them and had them powder coated. If I hadn't lifted mine and opted for a rather stock version of the 55, I'd probably lean toward the hubcapped wheel. Not exactly the stock wheel but a bit wider wheel and retain the original look. (I'm just a fan of wider tires on any car).

Interesting; looks like a nice pig. I assume it's a diesel conversion? If not then I think you need to save rim money for the engine.![]()
Stock hubcap, Chevy wheels 15 x 8, same time period, Just a thoughtStock with caps. All day
They were de rigor in the 70s. Everybody ran them, supposedly "stronger" than the factory rims. Not sure what the fascination with the white wagon wheels was,
I watched a few of your videos and you appear to like the fact that your pig is mostly stock and still has most of the factory parts. If the “Factory” look is appealing to you then factory hub caps is the logical answer to your question.plain factory steel rims with hub caps, any opinions???? What looks better??
Thanks Brother! They're in great shape just prob needs renew paint / powder coat. I do like the vintage look of the steel+cap look though. I'll prob keep them and have both....
