Well keep up the good work. The 70 Series section needs some 79 Series action. 😊

I guess I should get started on building the other 79s I've been collecting to add some content :)

Do you expect to need a hose clamp on the push lock with the silicone hose? And source or type of hose used? I have not mounted my heat exchanger on my 3fe yet.

All the hoses will get clamped.....I really like using the Constant Torque clamps and had to order some smaller sized ones today for the 3/8". Certainly not necessary on this but I want them to all look the same under the hood. I'm weird I think.

The AN fittings on the bulkhead look like push lock but they are different....push lock has a different barb up front...sharper to bite in. I wanted more of a straight barb but that would have required a 90 -6AN male/female then a female 3/8 barb.....too many pieces...the ones I got will work for what I need them to.

The hose is 3/8 silicone hose, heat rated. I bought it on ebay......20' each I think as we had to run a lot of it. I'll find the links. Quality stuff for sure. Red and blue were totally unnecessary.....even the silicone was unnecessary but again, I'm weird :)

79 Series content is always desirable. 😊

And we've got hot water. What a cool setup. We plumbed it as Glind recommended......works as it should. If you want hot water, you turn the heater on in the car and you've got heat. Turn it off, no heat. I think it will be pretty nice to rinse off with luke warm water....I'm kind of thinking the lower the flow out of the shower head, the longer it will be in the heat exchanger....the hotter it will be. Might have to test that out.

The Eclipse Turbo manifold went on too.

For some reason I struggled to find a proper sized voltage gauge for my auxiliary battery.....I may have found one but the display would have been sideways. Something like that.

So I made one and it turned out really cool. Just need to wire it in....we've got a lot of wiring to do so we'll tackle it all at one time.

Bought some tiny LED displays for voltage....3 of them for $5 I think. Can't beat that. Mounted it to a tinted Plexiglas cut in the shape of the switch opening....the tinted color knocks down the intensity...these things are bright. Stuck the display to the Plexi with some membrane tape....stuck the whole enchilada to the switch opening.....

A few weeks ago we put together a vapor blast cabinet.....I had been looking for one for a bit but of course, none available on Craigslist or Facebook when you need one. New ones were just too expensive for what I needed. Sending parts out to someone to do them didn't make sense. So we built one based on some DIY plans you can buy online. This thing is maybe my new favorite tool. It's staggering how good it cleans and polishes. It's incredible. Certainly not cheap and it took at least a week for us to build it....and we still aren't done. We need to secure it to the base, paint some things, etc. I was too anxious to start playing with it to finish it.

Harbor freight sand blast cabinet is where it starts.

This is the pump mechanism in the basin under the thing....25 pounds of fine glass beads....water filled up to the bottom of the top white drain valve. The agitator stirs the glass media into the water so the pump can suck it up and pump it to the gun.

Inside the box which we painted white with Flex Seal. There's an LED light in there. There's a wiper for the glass, fresh water wash down(coiled hose) and even a little water sprayer for the wiper system. Pretty involved.

The plans came from this site below. Well worth the $70 as you get all the build videos and parts list for all the bits and pieces. Having that list made a world of difference and saved a huge amount of time. There are a staggering amount of parts.

I'm still getting my technique right. All of this stuff was done with just glass bead media. You can mix in a few pounds of aluminum oxide to cut things better but I haven't needed it yet. Some guys will sand blast first, then polish with the vapor blast. Some of the aluminum comes out so shiny it's hard to believe.

Some Defender 90 junk we ran thru it.....this stuff was nasty. Maybe 15 minutes of work. We didn't even disassemble the manifold...the vapor blasting does not hurt plastic, rubber or brass....

1HDFT intake before and after. This had been soaking in our parts cleaner for a week.

More 1HDFT parts.....better than new.

We did a Jeep intake for a motor build we are doing. This was one was amazingly cleaned. You can play with the pressures and distance of the nozzle to achieve some different finishes. All the fittings were left on(the throttle body was removed.

We installed this cool Diode Dynamics rear light.....it's a white flood lamp and a red scene light. Kind of cool and will work well with the other red light I have under the awning for night light. Plan is to hook it up to the Switch Pros to be able to work with the reverse lights or independently thru the switch pad with either red or white. No idea how that will be accomplished.....pretty cool if it works.

Diode Dynamics makes some beautiful lights....we run them on the front of this truck as driving lights. Very very solid lights that are modular so you can change lenses, bulbs, etc.

Similar idea here. When illuminated, you could see 40’ - 50’ behind the vehicle. 😊

Not sure how I NEVER knew about this cool mod......3 nozzle sprayers from a RAV 4 are now on the truck. What a huge relief :)

The 90* fitting made it a little bit tricky.....but I managed. Barely. :)

Did the 3 nozzle ones fit straight into the 79 hood?
Remove the 2 nozzle ones, install the 3 nozzle ones. Simple as can be. I saw it done on an 80.....so it even works on those. Bet it works on a few others too....
