My thanks to everyone that's helping with this project. Really appreciated. Nice to see the pics. Lorna & I are really stoked. We'll have a coming out party when it's done! Kevin, more parts headed your way. I'll give you a shout in the morning.

Looking good Fellas

Looking good. I need to come and take a look. I wish I would have know you plannec cutting the steering column. Power steering uses a different shaft than manualsteering. I would have given you a manual shaft to cut.

Costco sized bottles!:hillbilly:

No worries, that shaft had already been cut on. Left enough room to install that rag joint on another shaft.

Sounds good, well,,, maybe not the bodily fluids thing?:hillbilly:

Went round and round, attempting to decide on drag link rod ends, ended up using one from the '40 and one from the '62. To do this, had to splice two rods together, used the same method as earlier splices.

The stock rods are mega thick, ~3/16"!:hillbilly:

Jim, you know how we ordered both '62 rod end boots, then canceled the passenger? Well,,, now we used the passenger, so need to to cancel the driver and reorder the passenger. John is going to love us!:hillbilly:

I'll get on it. He's a pretty understanding guy. I was talking with Cdan this morning and as in the past he can't say enough good things about John Hocker. Nice to have good friends!

Pics look great. Nice work guys.
