Its been a long road to get to this point, huge shout out to Mike (55guy) and Dale for guiding me through this. I just got it back from Paint and am putting it back together. I'll try to list what I have put on it so far:
Chevy 350 from the HotRod Company out of Washington. Fitech fuel injection. Radiator from Mosely.
700r Transmission, stock transfer case.
Car was relatively rust free. Color is factory Nebula Green and a Ford Cream (n4).
Rear bumper is from 4x4Labs. Shout out to Luke for his help.
Front bumper is from a FJ40 by ARB.
Wheels from Nomad I think, Facebook told me to buy them.
Ragtop is from Legacy. There was a crumbling ragtop when I bought it, had to modify the hole slightly.
I have two Scheelmann seats and rear seat, more to come on that.
Disc brakes all around from B2B products.

For the rear cargo area, should I put down the sound deadoning material (Killmat)? I do plan on putting carpet down.

Wow, shes a looker. Love those wheels!

That's really cool, haven't seen that before (maybe I need to start looking at VW's).

What did you do with your handles? Looks like they have been painted or plated a gray/black color.

Gorgeous pig 👍

Sanded them down to bare metal, 2k Primer, then paint, then diamond finish clearcoat. It was a process. I'm going to try and have them wrapped in clear PPF to keep them from scratching.

I am in need of a drivers front window regulator. The one I have is stripped, bent and struggling. If any of you have one or know of one in decent shape, let me know!

What a great Pig!

What is the story on this? How long have you had this Pig?

Did it have the sunroof when you bought it?
I’ve had it for about 2 years. It did have an old ragtop in it that was likely installed in the 70’s given the condition and the brand of the old ragtop that has long since gone out of business.

Someone started restoring it and got the two front fenders fixed up, then gave up. Then a guy in our area here in Northern California bought it and reassembled it to flip it. I picked it up, with wild dreams and aspirations.! Quickly realized it was underpowered and impractical. I almost gave up at that point but with the encouragement of two mud brothers I went all in. Anyways, it’s coming all together and will hopefully be starting it up here soon, then it’s off to exhaust and then to the upholstery guy for headliner and carpet. Here are a few more pictures.

What should I do for exhaust? Dual, single, 3”? Behind the rear wheels, or out the back?
