This adventure is complete. Leg 4 of the great western adventure trip Compared to the great distances we traveled the last 3 legs, 615 miles does not seem like much but it was a lot of great riding in the San Juan range

5250 miles since we hit the trails on the TX/NM line 7 months ago

200 drivers.....I have a question about all these gee whiz gadgets and how to make the truck do what I want.

Here is a video of me going to the same spot the 80 went up and failing.

Weight is the main factor here. I'm sure my truck weighs 1500# more than that Saudi 80.

What was happening here. I was in 4low. I tried different traction settings but none of them would let me truly "bump it" like you often need to do.

I would floor it and the traction s*** would come on and it felt like all the HP was gone.

I think I toggled it from Loose Rock setting to Rock then I tried without the traction control completely. Give me some tips. I was very happy with all of the 200 gizmos except in this one spot.

I did it in a similar line with a rear locker, but over to the left starting and still putting that crevice in the middle of my hood and went right up, but that was last year and it was dry so slightly different conditions

Traction was on rock, but I don't rely on that . I use the power braking technique to get started

Looks like a good place to use the CRAWL feature, to me.
