Once we got into the south Escalante NM we put our noses toward the north shore or Lake Powell.

The distance was not bad but it was ROUGH.

The little gatekeeper canyon we passed through was left. My 200 barely able to make it.

We are whipped. Only 186 mikes today but other than the stretch of Hwy 12 from Boulder to Escalante it was rough.

It was 6 pm and it had taken us two hours to get to the point from the good road so we decided to head back out so we would be closer to civilization today for our trek back to Vegas.

We made the return trip in 1.5 hours because we were going down that bad ass hill instead of up it.

We found a great spot at dark and cooked a steak

This morning we made some burritos and hauled ass on smooth gravel out to Big Water and pavement.

We made it to Nevada and did a side trip to Valley of Fire (letdown after all we had seen) then around by Mead to Henderson and BTB/Man A Fre to drop off two of our 4 for repairs

After we pressure washed and vacuumed I slipped over to In N out

The diesel 80 has something out in the front end. Driveshaft. Ring and pinion. Something. He did the whole trip (minus the real hard stuff after he left) in 2wd.

The GX has bearings in the front that have to be replaced after every leg of the trip due to his experimental long travel suspension

The Tacoma may get a body mount chop while it's in town between. Trips.

My 200 is tossing a fuel code

I may get that fixed before I come back as well.

Ridgway CO to Vegas the long way. About 250 of that was asphalt, mainly all yesterday leaving Lake Powell for Vegas

Trip to date starting when we hit dirt outside Guadeloupe National Park into New Mexico 80% plus off road

Total on the Whale. Coming up on 100,000 miles on my Dobinsons MRR setup. Not sure if/when I'll rebuild the shocks and replace the springs but so far I can't tell any difference from new to now.

Never had any boil issues. Started in Colorado when the weather was cool.

Jason @Ozark cruiser says there is a filter up in the wheel well that can get clogged and toss this code.
